AMĒ is a “mirror”, in a sense. She’s an advanced, shapeshifting being put together by unknown affiliations, designed to confront and defeat the enemies of her creators—by becoming them. In turn, her own personality is temporarily replaced by her opponents, to the point she’s a perfect clone of them, her mind replaced with a replica of her rival’s—and the results for both fighters can be disastrous.

This is just part of her nature, and her creators have long since disappeared. Despite this, she still exists, and her reflection shines bright.
