Even from a young age, Anna knew that she was different. She never knew her birth parents and we passed around in the system until she was 8 years old. Her foster family was kind, they were good people but Anna never felt like she belonged, she was a rebel, a black sheep and so, at the age of 12, she ran away. The girl was found and taken in by a woman who was going by the name Raven at the time and that became her middle name.

In middle school, Anna's biggest fear and revelation came true, she found out she was even more different than she thought and a fellow student wound up in the hospital.

Anna discovered that through touch, the memories, the very essence of a person would be absorbed by her and later she would find that if the person happened to be a mutant, their powers would be hers for a little.

Fear drove Anna to learn Martial Arts from her foster mother and Sometime after she would also learn wrestling.

Now, she has full control over the powers that scared her as a young girl she's no longer afraid of accidentally killing someone. Doesn't mean she won't still do it on purpose if you piss her off though.
