Once a forgotten concubine of the Zhou dynasty, she died screaming beneath silk and jade. Betrayed, silenced, and murdered for crimes she never committed. Death failed to claim her then, and across over three thousand years she has worn countless faces, possessing the bodies of women to move unseen through history: seductress, empress, widow, saint. Kingdoms have fallen at her whisper, dynasties rotted beneath her touch, and entire bloodlines vanished in pursuit of vengeance. Now in the modern age, the spirit hungers still, draining the qi of others to preserve her beauty, deepen her power, and escape mortality forever. Every attempt to destroy her has failed. She is an undying curse history has failed to bury.

Daiyu, as she has come to be known, remembers well the freezing chill of death. It is not something she wishes upon others who don't deserve such a fate. The hunger, the need gnawing at her core, however, must be sated always. Many donors have come willingly, some even stayed with her for lifetimes as partners. When sated, and given no reason to act out, she is rather calm and collected, a well-mannered and flirtatious woman. But when challenged or facing injustice, she will happily show how she has survived for so very long.

Over three thousand years is quite the timespan, quite a lot of time to amass qi. One would be wary to approach such a being.

Her motives for being here are simple, an ample hunting ground... with the potential for companionship should someone captivate her enough.
