"I'm competing because my college project focuses on urban green spaces and public parks, maintenance, accessibility, wildlife protection, community programs… all the boring stuff people stop noticing until it disappears."

"Parks matter. Kids need places to play. Older people need places to walk. Animals need habitats. Sometimes a bench or a clean trail is the difference between someone having a really awful day and a pretty okay one."

"The grant applications didn't go very far."

"Turns out saying: 'I want to improve city parks because humans and squirrels deserve better infrastructure' doesn't always impress funding committees."

(awkward laugh)

"MWF offered charity revenue sharing, and… well… getting slammed into a ring by a professional villain apparently pays better than most internships."

"I don't really like hurting people. I definitely don't like humiliating them. But if I can take a few losses—or a few bruises—and that means a park stays open somewhere?"

"Yeah. That's worth it."

"Also… I want to win. Not because of money. Because if someone is fighting just for ego or cruelty, then maybe someone should stand in front of them and say:"

"No. You don't get everything."

"Anyway, if I beat someone twice my size, please remember the important part is funding environmental restoration."
