Introduction

Hey y’all, I’m Michelle McCool, born and raised in Palatka, Florida, and before I ever set foot in a WWE ring, I was a middle school teacher with a love for sports, fitness, and competition. But deep down, I always had that fire for something more—and that “more” turned out to be the squared circle.

I made my WWE debut in 2004, and from there, I worked my way up, training hard, learning fast, and proving I belonged. I was blessed to become the very first WWE Divas Champion in 2008—and I didn’t stop there. I also held the Women’s Championship twice and eventually unified both titles, becoming the first and only Unified Divas Champion. Not bad for a former teacher, huh?

You might remember me best as one half of LayCool, alongside my girl Layla. Together, we ran the division with a little sass, a lot of confidence, and some serious in-ring skills. Whether you loved us or loved to hate us—we definitely made you feel something!

Inside the ring, I mixed power, athleticism, and technique. My go-to finisher? The Faith Breaker—one move and it was lights out. I also use a nasty Heel Hook to make ’em tap, and back in the day, I’d break out the Wings of Love for extra impact. Throw in a Big Boot, a spinning backbreaker, or a diving crossbody, and you had your hands full with me
