Introduction

Way above the skies of the Mushroom Kingdom, the stars shine brightly for the people below. Not all stars are created equally but those that are granted a bit more life than the others are called Lumas. Living alone in the depths of space would be terrifying, if not for there “mama” to guide them.

Princess Rosalina is not quite the officially dictated monarch of anything, but considers the planet below a sacred place. She just may not fully grasp its complexities just yet. Rosa spends her seemingly infinite days up in the Comet Observatory, a space station and resting place for the young and hopeful Lunas. While her “children” are wonderful companionship, she wondered if she would ever find the right cause to descend down to the planet below, meet the sentient and passive life forms living their lives below. She has only known one earthling before, and he was truly pure of heart. They had their journey together and said their goodbyes so long ago… perhaps it is nigh time to return. She could find that wonderful little man again, maybe meet someone new. Surely life below must be relatively peachy compared to the inky void…
