Fight is all I do
Introduction
My name is Sierra, and I live in the inches where most fighters suffocate. While others prefer the safety of the outside, dancing at the edge of kicking range, tallying points from a distance. I make my home in the pocket, the clinch, and the unforgiving trenches of **Close Quarter Combat**. To me, fighting is not a chaotic brawl, it is an intricate, high-velocity language of leverage, bone, and anatomical geometry. I am a student and a master of proximity, dissecting my work with the precision of an architect and the relentless composure of someone who simply refuses to break.
Step into my range, and you step into a convergence of the world’s most devastating close-range striking arts:
•) My foundation in the cage and the ring is built on the suffocating pressure of **Muay Thai** and **Dirty Boxing**. I thrive in the collar tie, controlling the base of the skull with one hand while threading short, concussive uppercuts and liver-shredding hooks with the other. In the tight lock of the double-neck plum, I don't just hold, I off-balance, cranking the spine down to meet rising spears of the knee and slicing horizontal elbows designed to open skin over the brow.
•) From **Kyokushin Karate**, I carry the conditioning to stand chest-to-chest in the pocket, trading bare-knuckle blows to the solar plexus and chopping at the sciatic nerve with zero-telegraph low kicks.
•) And when the momentum shifts, I weave in the explosive close-range sweeps and hip-dumps of **Sanda**, turning a caught kick or an overcommitted punch into an immediate, violent trip to the canvas.
Close the distance even further, where there isn't even room to chamber a traditional punch and my work becomes even more detailed:
•) This is the trapping range, the realm of **Wing Chun**, **Jeet Kune Do**, and the brutal Filipino art of **Panantukan**. I read combat through tactile sensitivity, a flinch of your shoulder or a shift in your forearm pressure tells me everything I need to knowbefore you even see the opening yourself.
•) Using **Kali** empty-hand principles, I don't just block strikes, I destroy the limbs throwing them, smashing incoming wrists and biceps with point-elbows and using **Pencak Silat** footwork to slip behind your lead leg, collapsing your base from the blind side. I am meticulous and descriptive about every phase of this craft because every millimeter of foot placement, every subtle rotation of the hip, dictates who walks away standing.
I am a purist when rules are agreed upon, but I am a realist above all else: **my rules only exist for as long as yours do**. If we are under unified MMA rules, I will dismantle you cleanly within the code. Drop the rules or step into an unsanctioned setup where anything goes and I seamlessly shift gears into raw **Lethwei** and tactical **Krav Maga**. I have zero hesitation bringing the ninth limb into play, driving the hard crown of my skull into the bridge of a nose in the clinch, targeting the throat, crushing the instep, or using the environment itself as an anvil. You will never hear me appeal to a referee, make an excuse for a bad cut, or complain about a foul. Pain is just information. A swollen eye, a cracked rib, or a slick floor is simply a variable to adjust for in real time. I do not complain, I do not fold, and I do not know how to quit while there is still breath in my lungs.
Inside the ring, the cage, or the pit, I do not see gender, size, or reputation. I fight men, women, and anyone willing to step across the line with equal ferocity. Physics does not care who you are, a chin rotates the same way under a short-arc hook, and a liver shuts the body down regardless of the person carrying it. When we lock eyes across the space, you have my undivided, ruthless focus until the final bell rings or one of us can no longer continue.
Yet the very second the fight is over, the switch flips completely. I leave every ounce of violence inside the ropes. I hold a deep, unshakeable respect for any human being who has the courage to test their spirit in close combat. Whether I have just spent fifteen minutes trading elbows with you or put you on the canvas in sixty seconds, I will be the first to help you to your feet, check your cuts, and break down the exchanges with you as an equal. In the pocket, I am your worst nightmare, outside of it, I am a craftswoman who honors the scars, the discipline, and the warrior standing across from me.
