Origins

Tommy spent his early years involved in Mega City's pro wrestling scene, but his career never took off. Desperate for an edge over his competition, he started taking shady, banned performance enhancers. One particular batch happened to be laced with an experimental substance, one whose chemical make-up was never determined. The odd, neon green colored liquid in the syringe didn't just give him a boost, it mutated his very DNA. Over time, it granted him incredible super strength, turning him cold-blooded as it slowly started to alter his biology.

Rise to Power

Pro wrestling's loss became Mega City's problem. After being fired from the local promotion, Tommy took his new and evolving superpowers to the criminal underground. He signed on as the heavy muscle and henchman for The Circuit, a crime syndicate operating out of the city's shadows. He didn't stay a lackey for long though. Once he figured out how the criminal operation worked, he staged a hostile takeover, ousted the old boss, and seized total control of the The Circuit.

Modern Day

Now running the entire operation with mastermind-like efficiency, Tommy rules Mega City's underworld a the unified crime lord. He now spends his days getting rich off the suffering of others while searching tirelessly for traces of that very substance that transformed his life forever.

Superpowers

Superhuman Strength: An obvious one, but his muscle density and tendon strength are off the charts, allowing him to leap high into the air or crush a rival's superheroine in his massive arms.
Chromatophore Camouflage: Tommy's skin contains altered cells that let him shift color, tone, and pattern to better blend into his surroundings. He isn't totally invisible, but in other instances he's practically able to vanish.
Enhanced Sub-Dermal Armor: His skin has toughened into a dense, semi-scaled hide just beneath the surface. It acts as natural body armor, letting him shrug off standard attacks and blunt force trauma that would incapacitate a normal person.
Rapid Cellular Regeneration: Like certain a certain reptile he shares his nickname with, his body is able to heal from minor tissue damage, burns, and fractures at a much faster rate.
Cold-Blooded Metamorphosis: Tommy's greatest superpower. In combat, his heart rate drops and his nervous system locks into a predatory state, allowing him to instinctively map out an opponent's weaknesses and counter their moves on the fly.
