Introduction

You see before you a figure of lean and athletic build, supernatural capabilities not immediately apparent aside from the second pair of capable arms just below the first. This is a Deva, a powerful deific spirit. This one in particular emodies the principle of Victory, and aims to master this principle in all aspects, including against you. The Deva moves with the speed and force of a lightning bolt (its namesake, in fact), and reads opponents as well as one would expect a combatant of centuries to do.

It will meet you on the field, in the ring, the cage, the arena, or wherever else the challenge lays. It will match your challenge in a variety of styles, with whichever rules you should stipulate, and it will aim to thoroughly defeat you at your own game. It's preference, though, is unrestricted combat, where it is free to deliver its brutally controlling form of striking.

The Deva's fighting style is one of absolute dominance. Readied counters and avoidance of enemy blows, along with the durability to withstand even the hardest impacts, leave it free to dance in and around your desperately swinging limbs. Surgically precise assault from six coordinated limbs soon overwhelms all but the best defenses, picking you apart and disabling your capabilities piece by piece with harsh blows to pressure points and energy centers of chakra. The Deva's favoured trick, it seems, is forcing an opponent's guard up to protect their head with one set of arms, while the other proceeds to lay bloodcurdling abuse into an opponent's core and vital organs.

This is an extremely dangerous figure to stand opposite in any field of battle. Of course, it is possible for those counted among the great champions of mortal kind, that their strength, speed, skill, and grit could prove to be enough to reverse fate and seize victory from the spirit that embodies it, leaving a Deva broken on the ground and deserving all accolades.
