Aiming to make the federation feel more like an actual dojo and to encourage participation, I've come up with a simplified belt rank systems based on matches fought and won.

Here's how the ranks will be organized and their requirements:

• White belt: Fight in a match.
• Yellow belt: Fight in two matches.
• Orange belt: Win a match.
• Green belt: Win two matches or fight in four matches.
• Purple belt: Participate in a tournament.
• Brown belt: Win four fights.
• Red belt: Reach the semi-finals in a tournament.
• Black belt: Defeat another black belt OR win a tournament

To qualify for a belt, the match MUST be public and published as a story on the federation.

(Note that Purple belts and above will probably see a change in the requirements, due to tournaments not being the most reliable thing to organise)
