Dice matches and jobbers: The ultimate Solution

There is no hiding the fact that this site has many people who enjoy losing more than winning. I am included in that number though I have won fights as well. However as scenario may come along that causes an impasse of sorts for two people who otherwise would love to face each other. The are both jobbers.

Now you can go the route of trying to lose in a match where both people want to lose and if you have ever suffered through that scenario, you have my sympathies. You can however go for another option. A Dice Match. Dice matches are used to add an element of luck that both sides would have . An equal playing field where either one can lose but also win. Of course there must be a mutual agreement for both people to see this to the end rather than one person seeing they will not lose and bolting for the door. No a good dice match tends to make you forget you want to lose, instead you see yourself, at least in my case, going for the win. You go with the flow of the dice so to speak.

But how do dice matches work? Well everyone has a slight variation with me knowing of several that can be quite fun. The one I use is a simple one but first we need to set up the thing before we even get to that. First:
1.You need to get your health bar ready. You use the command !set health
2. This will give you a default of 100/100 health but if you do not want that much for your match, you can set it to any amount by placing a number after the word health with a space between the like so. !set health 50
3. That is the hardest part out of the way. Now depending on the match you have such options as !Punch, !Kick, !Attack, !Clinch, !Stand, !Escape and so on. Just add the exclamation mark first and a list of options will come up that you can browse.
4. Once you settle on the attack or option you want to use given the situation, you just type it in and let the dice roll to see what happens. Then you react to it with your post and your opponent does the same afterwards Always remember to type YT or yt after your post is done.
5. You can choose the amount of chances you get to attack per turn. Personally I like once or twice the most but have seen variations where one person attacks till they miss. In that time they strike the person who reacts in turn to each strike. It is not nearly as one sided as you think, having given me the closest match I have had in a dice match actually.
6. You can also choose what damage does what. 1-5 can be a light hit to medium hit. 6-8 can be a big hit which makes you stagger but stay up in the end. 9 an above is a knockdown for me personally. When you get knocked down you have to type in the !stand command to see if you will get up. If you fail to, the opponent can parade around for added insult while you try to or they can pick you up and continue the beating or they can follow you down a and continue the beating.
6B. This is why people love the two attack option as if one attempt to stand fails you get another chance but more than that if the first one succeeds you can then attack without giving your opponent a free follow up.

There is much more to dice matches and you, if you choose to use this method, will develop your own or discover them. I like them as a way to have a match with someone who otherwise ticks all my boxes but also wants to lose the hard fought match in the end. Of course they have to agree first and some people will refuse as they really just want to lose or not even have a back and forth which is fine. Dice matches are simply there for those who want to have a little variety or a solution for the jobber vs jobber paradox. Hopefully this helped.
