Superhero Proving Grounds

Powerbomb is newer to having powers, he was alone as a kid, never really knowing where he belonged, his first home wasn't somewhere any child should be taken away at a young age , but, he never really gave it a second thought just moving forward and pushing through. He was constantly getting into fights while growing up not being that big of a kid and not really growing into his own until the past few years, finally learning how to fight a bit better and building up his body to take hits and still be able to dish them out. Just in the past 5 or 6 months though he really found a change in himself, it all just sort of 'happened' he had pushed himself more into a life of crime to make ends meat, being a great pick pocket and picking up a few other skills along the way just to make sure he can live for the moment. One day while decided to go for something a bit bigger he was cornered in the back of a store, the rush of adrenaline caused something to happen and his body suddenly started to glow a bit, his red eyes had a spark through them and a surge ran through him fully, the people surrounding him couldn't make heads or tails out of what was going on! Then again, neither could he, but he wasn't going to question what was going on, he just did what he knew how to do and punched his way out! Sparks were flying a bit as yellow gloves formed around his balled up fists, striking with a speed that wasn't super human, but definitely faster than one might expect and the blows seemed amplified a bit as well, but the recoil? that hurt like a BITCH since he had no clue what was going on. Next thing he knew he was out of the store, having made some cash and not sure what was happening at all, feeling like he was hit by a train. The walk home was a long one and of cousre it was raining, but after he got home he put himself in that state of mind again and found out he had something surging through him, it felt good, powerful, like he could obtain what he's wanted for so long.

After that night, he's tried honing his skills but it's hard, he can only manage a few things right now, Making boxing gloves on both fists, or concentrating on one to make almost a brass knuckle like form for a bit harder of a blow that's more concetrated but takes more effort, or he can make braces on his legs to move a bit faster as well. He's tried throwing this 'lightning' but it doesn't work very well and isn't worth the time or effort, though he's always looking to improve his skills and get better, there's just some things that might never be within his grasp. He still pushes through though, using his skills and talents for evil, not faltering in his path to get those big heists and paydays, doing very well for himself now and trying to make connections so he can get bigger paydays.

Power: Lightning (not on a thor level of course)
Abilities: For now: Can form boxing gloves on both hands, or a more concentrated brass knuckle on one hand, can form braces around the legs for bursts of speed, nothing flash like, but quicker than a normal person/athlete. Is working on learning to control the flow of lightning for small bursts into foes he might trap in certain holds. Has boxing/wrestling based Style of fighting. Has a villain finishing move which is how he got his name "Powerbomb" , a bit more force behind it than your average powerbomb but nothing insanely dangerous.
Drawbacks: He still gets hit like a normal person, his body is strong, but he's not "superhuman" strength level. If he uses the more concentrated brass knuckle on one hand it takes a lot of focus and stamina, the leg braces drain his energy a lot for making his legs move faster. If he uses the lightning on his body as "armor" it doesn't last very long , not more than one or two really good hits. If he tries to throw lightning 90% of the time it doesn't go well.

Goals: Cause chaos, get rich, make villain connections and take down heroines or vigilantes in the process.
