Superhero Proving Grounds

Georgia_Ellenwood: As I leave the gym and wave goodbye to my teammates, I walk down the streets at night, the lamp posts and the lights of buildings lighting up the street while in this attire, listening to music with my headphones on with complete relaxation

Georgia_Ellenwood:

The_Huntsman: I've been following my mark now for a few days, getting used to her schedule and assessing her abilities. She always does these late night gym sessions then walks home after, it would be a good idea to launch an attack after she's already wore herself out. The gym is usually crowded, so not there... But theres an alleyway that could provide an excellent opportunity to get a jump on the Canadian cutie. She also walks past a dimly lit park, but in the middle of the city if anyone were to drive by it would be too exposed. Alley it is. She turns the corner and I see a glimpse of her white outfit and I quickly slide down the corridor, hoping she didn't catch a glimpse of me. I wait until I hear her footsteps getting closer.. closer.. and finally when she's near enough I pop out and grab her arm, pulling her deep into the alleyway! I fix her with my most malevolent glare, hoping to keep her quiet long enough to keep her from attracting attention!

Georgia_Ellenwood: I walk down this alleyway, usually quiet and safe, but suddenly a heavy grip pulls me deep into the alley, giving me a horrendous stare! Does he know who I am? Does he know my secret? I don't have time to think, just act! Immediately I use my ability to control elements, pushing a controlled hurricane speed wind focused right at you to push you away with force, my eyes burning with fight in it as I shout "Fuck off!"

The_Huntsman: I manage to draw you in and past me before you summon a gust of wind to aid your shove, sending me sliding backwards nearly into the street where we came from. I manage to grab hold of a large green dumpster to weather the rest of the wind before flexing my impressive shoulders and lats to heave myself towards you, nearly leaping the distance in a single jump. It looks like I'm about to miss you, until I kick off the wall and redirect myself at you with a flying punch aimed at your face with my left hand!

Georgia_Ellenwood: You look strong, and could take that blow! Any human would never be able to do that, so I immediately know you're a superpowered individual, clearly not a good one as you leap towards me and kick off the wall to throw a punch at my face! The heightened instincts kick in, and as I raise my guard to block the punch, my elemental ability instinctively chooses earth, using stone to block the punch well. The force of the blow does still cause me to slide to the side, almost on the streets of the public, but manage to hold firm and fire the stone I used at you, not using lethal force as to not kill you

The_Huntsman: CRUNCH! My fist connects solidly, unfortunately it's with the rock you summoned to block my attack, sending you sliding backwards from the force of the blow. You extend your hand and send the once defensive rock on the attack, firing directly at me. I run to side of the alleyway, dodging the projectile and leaping up the wall again, holding my hands above my head as I summon an aid - a pair of gauntlets appearing on my hands with a sinister crackle. My right hand fits into the palm of my left and I twist my neck from side to side, readying myself for an epic battle. As suddenly as I paused for dramatic effect, I throw both palms behind me, a sonic boom heard but not seen propelling me forward towards you for another powerful punch attempt! This time, with my right hand, looking to hit you with some shock and awe!

Georgia_Ellenwood: "BOOOM!" Your sinister cackle after dodging the projectiles, summoning some gauntlets on your hands and the boom being the sound of you propelling towards me for another punch attempt! I block this time too with more rock, but the speed and power of the blow knocks me back hard onto the street and out of the alleyway, cars swerving away as to not hit me!! I roll back to my feet, but focus on making sure the civilians are safe, showing my caring nature in full, almost forgetting about you

The_Huntsman: My gauntlet crushes through the rock this time, but my electrified fist never quite reaches you as you roll away into the street. I strut out of the alleyway and glare at the cars who dare get in my way before clapping my hands, a sonic wave shooting out in all directions, car alarms of the parked cars getting set off and the ones in motion getting sent into each other, effectively halting traffic. I see it also blew you away into the building behind you, and I make a fist and send a bolt of lightning at you this time!

Georgia_Ellenwood: I focus on the cars, before a massive "BOOOOMM!" From those gauntlets of yours set off car alarms and send cars into chaos! What's worse for me in that it sends me into a building behind me, leaving almost a cartoonist imprint of my body against it, before a bolt of lightning is sent at me!! I show what I learned against someone who had the ability to control lightning and absorb the bolt of lightning, redirecting it at you with powerful wind behind it too, showing you just what I'm made of!

Georgia_Ellenwood: "Who are you!?" I ask while shouting

The_Huntsman: I catch the bolt of lightning on my left fist, the energy dissipating between the two as I wiggle my fingers. "Who am I? I'm the guy they send to deal with upstart young heroines!" I charge and close the distance, this time using the sonic boom from the gauntlets in opposite directions, front and back, causing me to spin intensely to my left and adding to the force of the right footed kick I've aimed at your side!

Georgia_Ellenwood: I look shocked, but at least I have an answer, and before I can even respond back, you use your gauntlets to spin like a tornado and attempt a right kick at my side which finally lands, sending me flying to my left with a massive yelp in pain and crashing into a car that's parked, dazed and spitting on the floor in pain. This is a force I've never felt before, and it's.... unbelievable!

The_Huntsman: The car window shatters as you slam into it, the door dented in from your body as my kick sends you soaring. My left hand emits a low sonic pulse to keep you in place as I walk towards you, the force not too great but enough to make it feel like you're walking against a strong wind. When I get close enough I punch my fists together to emit a static shockwave that interrupts most abilities before reaching down to pick you up by your shoulder.

Georgia_Ellenwood: I try getting up but it's like you're freezing me in place with how hard it is to move. After you punch your fists and pick me up by the shoulder, my strength is still there, but for a moment I can't use my elemental abilities, so I try and elbow the side of your head with force. I might be in pain, but I will never go down if I know evil is around like you

The_Huntsman: Just when I think I've finished you off you come out swinging with an elbow, cracking me in the side of the face and splitting open the skin of my cheekbone. This makes me lose my grip with my left hand, and as I stagger away I fire a sonic pulse from my right hand at your stomach, like a fist, aiming to drive you back and give me some time to recover.

Georgia_Ellenwood: I notice some crimson on my elbow, and I know that's not my blood, it's yours! Your grip loosens and you stagger away, and use a blast of wind, just about getting my elemental abilities working again to fight against that source pulse trying to drive me back while I slide back a bit

The_Huntsman: I regain my feet, onlookers now watching from outside their cars as this superhero battle continues. I wipe the blood streaming down my face with my left arm before firing twin lightning bolts at your feet from both fists, looking to spray up debris so you won't know I'm actually executing a flying kick aimed at your chest! Hiyaaaaa

Georgia_Ellenwood: After I dissipate the sonic blow, you strike lightning at my feet to spray debris at me! Unaware of where you are I rely on my instincts and just about sense a flying kick coming at my chest, which I block using the debris as a makeshift shield. Even still, I am hit back from the force of your kick, your power being shown really well here as I see the public watching this chaotic brawl take place. I can't focus on them right now however, and instead cover myself in rock, a solid and thick piece of armour which I use to rush at you and throw a heavy punch aimed for that cut on your cheek, hoping the stone fist does even more damage to you

The_Huntsman: I parry the blow with my thick arm, creating a triangle against my head but damn does that rock hurt. I feel warmth trickle down my forearm and know I'm bleeding from more places now but I have to keep up the fight. I look at the charge on my gauntlets and see it's down to half, I'll need to be wise about sending more bolts as those use up the most power. I kneel down and launch a powerful right uppercut, using my left palm to increase the power as I look to take off that rock head of yours! If anything, it will likely send me flipping over your head and onto the car behind you

Georgia_Ellenwood: Using the elemental powers are a slight drain myself, but I know I need to give all I have in order to defeat you considering you may have more toys at your disposal. And despite you blocking that blow with your unnaturally thick arm, I see blood flowing from there too before a massive right uppercut smashes me up into the air to crash down onto a car, the rock protecting the head smashed off to keep my face in tact but also showing me wince in pain from such a powerful blow!

The_Huntsman: I'm launched into the air with you, following in flight as I see your body crash land on the car. The head of the rock armor lands just off to the left, and I give myself another sonic pulse to redirect my flight so now I'm positioned to land directly on top of you, looking for a two footed slam into your softened gut!

Georgia_Ellenwood: SLAMMM!! And the rest of my armour flies off of me after that two footed slam hits my midsection with raw power, leaving me holding my gut in pain as my white outfit is looking a little dirty already. Not wanting to take this laying down, I grab your left leg with my right hand and use the element of fire to try and burn your left leg...

The_Huntsman: My skin sizzles as you sear me past medium rare to well done. I yelp in pain but keep my head straight, leaning forward and firing my right knee at your face, looking to potentially end this fight on the top of this Corolla. If I miss, my hands will be on the metal car and I plan on unleashing the remainder of the charge in my gauntlets - I'll be protected as I'm wearing them, but you won't be so lucky.

Georgia_Ellenwood: I hear your skin sizzling, and again those super reflexes allow me to barely avoid your knee aimed right at my face! I know I can't just subdue you, so I go to use my powers more brutally, firing a massive rock shaped as a spear aimed for your midsection, hoping it is enough to weaken you heavily

The_Huntsman: Before I'm able to discharge my gauntlets I feel a powerful blow slam into my thick abs, sending me flying off the car and onto my back. The wind wooshes out of my lungs as I lie there for a moment, panting and attempting to recover, but that was an intense blow. I groan as I roll over onto my hands and knees, trying to stand up before you can capitalize on that attack

Georgia_Ellenwood: I sit up and roll off of the car in pain, standing up around the same time as you and using my high speed to run at you with high force, attempting to hit you hard with a flying kick aimed at your chest, showing I'm not all elemental powers

The_Huntsman: You close the gap quickly and use the same attack I did, only yours isn't disguised. I step to my left and block with the palm of my hand, pushing your flying kick wide. As you soar past me my gauntlet crackles and I try press the back of it into your weakened midsection, hoping to 'taser' you and leave you incapacitated!

Georgia_Ellenwood: You hit me well and 'taser' my midsection with brutal force, sending me crashing into a building twitching in shock, but still trying to get up as I hold my midsection, the owner of the shop I crashed into looking at me with pain in his eyes..

The_Huntsman: Sirens begin to get closer and closer as I stalk towards the shop. I see you glare up at me with hate and defiance in your eyes, but this has gone on too long and I must get going. I point one finger at you, lightning dancing across the others, crackling sinisterly. "Stop messing in our affairs. Stick to sports.. or else I'll have to give you a more permanent warning!" I fire two lightning bolts at the ground outside the shop, scattering debris everywhere and when it clears.. I'm gone. 

Georgia_Ellenwood: I snarl back as you disappear, but also realise I'm in public, and thankfully no helicopter crew has come out yet, so I quickly cover myself in rock and use my wind control to fly away, but before I do I tell the man in the shop "I'll pay for your damages" and leave just before the police show up to hear some crazy stories from civilians, my identity just about kept a secret...but I won't stop doing what's right, I don't care what that man says...I'll always help and next time, defeat you...
