Welcome to the September edition of the Monthly Club Insider. I am the new Editor in Chief Connie Lingus. This is a very newsworthy edition of The Insider, so let's get right to it

August 23, it's a date when a legendary career was born. Goddess Faith first stepped onto the fighting scene on that date in the year 1997. Her path lead her through numerous promotions, countless opponents, and many historical moments. From a rookie, to a champion, to a mentor, Faith has seen it all during her time in the ring. So much that she was ready to hang it up in 2026. After a mixed match with a long time partner and friend Faith took a hiatus that might have been a retirement. Of course anyone who has followed wrestling knows how those retirements last. The ring came calling and Faith returned to the mat. SSW was the lucky beneficiary of her talents. Faith returned with the intention of helping the new generation of wrestlers. While she certainly did that, the Goddess inside was very apparent. Mere months into her return to the ring Goddess Faith has once again become Champion. Finding herself unexpectedly enjoying squashing opponents. Faith went on a hot streak this summer. Twenty nine years and one week after her debut Faith claimed the top prize. Congratulations to the August SSW World Champion Goddess Faith.

The other side of the Championship rankings saw a new champion as well. Perennial number two has become number one. Brooke Williams has become Jobber Champion for the second time in her career. The young Businesswoman will be celebrating her first year in Cyber Fighting with gold around her waist.

August also saw the first ever Match of the Month award. This award is being presented to Aditi vs Fareedah. This was a thriller that saw Fareedah and Aditi both do what they do best in the ring. Each earning bonus points to carry over into September's rankings. Congratulations to both these great competitors.

Keen eyed readers may have noticed that SSW has awarded newly designed championship belts to the new champions

This is all part of a greater redesign of the overall presentation of SSW. At a recent live event in Reading, Pa fans were first treated to the new logo. I caught up with SSW President and found Brooke Williams at this event. Which took place in her hometown. "I was really excited to unveil the new logos and arena set up in my hometown", Brooke said. "The fans treated us with a sold out show and brought the energy the entire time. I wanted something special to give back" 

Brooke posed in front of the marque in her hometown, then posed in front of the new set before dropping a little hint for the future..."my favorite time of year is coming up...I think that is a good time for a seasonally themed Pay Per View." She dropped that hint that laughed like Dracula before flying off to take care of preshow business. I tried to find further information about this. The only thing I got out of her was that more details would follow later in September.
