What is the "setting" of the photo and where did you tried to post it? Private I guess only appears in private messaging.
What is the length of the file name (characters)? In a DIFFERENT forum/chat, I found out that pictures with really LONG names are not displayed, while they do when you shorten the name. I guess (!) this is because the maximum possible length of the (Underlying) directory tree. It still has a limit of "X" characters (I do not remember if this was 256 or some value, it has been a long time that I had anything to do with the in-depth problems of IT).
Last but not least: how big (MB) is the photo? Perhaps the foto was "still loading", and took forever. Smaller pictures might be better.
Last but not least: did you experience disruptions of the connection? I found out myself that if this happens, it (for example) cuts the text you were typing. I thereby guess it might "cut" the upload of a to-be-presented picture.

2022-09-18 09:33Thanks for the advice, but it was trying to upload an image that I had successfully attached to a chat session in the past!
I suspect it might have been a temporary issue. I'll try again today.

2022-09-17 12:48Are there some photos that can't be uploaded to chat? I tried to upload a photo from my photos, using the attach option, but nothing is happening.
