I'm a "keyboard-guy" - I prefer doing most of my navigation with the keys. One thing I do very often is using "Shift + Arrow-Keys" when typing/editing my texts in the chat. Usually that selects the whole line, making it a quick way to change/overwrite larger parts of a message I'm working on. But here in the chat this combination calls up the last message I sent, thereby deleting my current message without any way to get it back. Not even "CTRL-Z" works.
That made me scream at my screen quite a few times, I've to say. So my proposal for a fix: When pressing Shift+Up put the currently unsent message in the history-queue as well. That way the function still works as usual, but one can get their texts back by pressing "Shift + Down" and nothing is lost.
