You can only temporarily disable secondary characters. To do this, go to manage-characters and click disable next to the secondary char you wish to disable .
Your account & primary character cannot be disabled/deactivated temporarily, you can only delete those permanently. ( To do this, go to preferences , and click on "Delete my membership". (Be aware, this will delete your account & chars permanently.) )
