I find this post containing may great tips appears at a time when I am seeing a new and strange trend. More and more, I see characters with absolutely no tags and no introduction at all. These are usually accompianied by a summary line that says something like "like to fight." Who would want to contact someone with this type of profile on chat or through the message system? Absolutely no infirmation is provided regarding what kindbof fights they are interested in, what kinds of ancillary activities they might like or dislike, whether they are balls to the wall to win, or looking to get squashed, etc. Us there a logic behind this practice I am missing?
I amd glad you brought this up terror and as someone that gets a fair few hit up I always check out their profile before even answering so I know where the conversation should lead to. Now I find so many with nothing or minimal information as you say and the weirdest thing about it is they ask what I am into. I am pretty clear and always have been about what I look for and like in a match. As for any logic if any behind this I have no clue, but I don't bother with those profiles.
Cheers Terror and am glad to hear I am not the only one that has noticed and as a review writer I can tell you some of these are set up and are the same person. They tend to be long drawn out put you to sleep matches with 2/3 just sex and not good sex either lol.
Also DRP 119 that was a well written easy to comprehend guide, so I want to congratulate you on it. Well done. I change my profile about once a month if I think it needs something in or out of it.
Cheers to you all from Jason (The Gold Star of the ring)⭐
Now that you've had time to come up with and create your character, it's time to get to the dreaded part of making contact and setting up matches.
You really won't be fighting psychics so the first thing you should do is check out your profile. Every time you log on, any one interested in fighting you is going to be looking at your profile. Use the stats to your advantage to give potential opponents a mental image of the fighter you want to be. Use the height, weight and everything. The four most important stats are Endurance, Orientation, Position and Willpower.
Endurance is going to let your opponent know how tough you are. Are you weak or are you tough? If you want to play a jobber you should set your character to a lower endurance. An invincible jobber would be unbeatable. A lower endurance would make you a pushover while higher would make you stronger.
Orientation is going to let those interested in something more than a fight know where you stand. Straight will let your opponents know you're only interested in the opposite sex while gay will let them know you're only interested in the same sex. A mixed orientation will let them know you might prefer a little bit of both or don't mind a little more from a fight.
Position is a good way to tell someone you're a jobber without telling them you're a jobber. The more of a bottom you are, the more opponents can expect you to crumble while the more of a top you are, opponents will expect a fight. Willpower will establish how submissive or dominant you are.
Make sure to make good use of the tags to give potentials an idea of the kind of matches you're interested. Try to be specific and pick as many as you're interested in and avoid using ones you're not really interested in. If don't want mixed fights or same sex fights, let them know. You can cut down on unwanted suitors.
When it comes to the profile pict, find something suitable to your character. Something that says this is your character. Try to avoid nudity when possible. Especially dick picts. If a woman or a guy wants to see your dick, they'll ask. They'll always ask. If the first thing someone sees when they click on your profile is a dick, they'll be less inclined to pursue a match with you. People usually want to build a level of intimacy before exploring their naked body.
As for the intro, this is your chance to shine and be the you, you want to be. Channel your character. Cut your character's promo. Are you smart, kind of dumb, are you tough, sweet, kind? What's your mission? Are you looking to kick ass and take names? Do you want to start a faction? Do you want to takeover? Are you looking for challenges or pushovers? Let people know what you're looking for.
Make sure to update it as your interests/tastes change or improve. Also, keep updating your relationships. This will let people know you've been around and know how to get a good match.
When you're done, it's time to look for a fight. There's multiple ways. You can hit up the arena and see if there's any scenarios you want to play in. If you're looking for a certain type of fight, check out the federations. There's usually a federation for the kind of fights you're looking for. You'll also have access to the members who share similar tastes making it easy to find more of the fights you prefer. You can also, if you're feeling bold, use the arena and craft the scenario you're looking for and just wait for the inbox to hit you up.
Of course, you can always save time and hit the chats. Depending on the time of day, there might be fighters waiting for you in one of the many rooms. You can also scroll down and find someone. Make sure you read their profile before initiating contact. You might be a villain in the ring but there's no reason to be mean in the opening conversation. You want to get to know this person and convince them you're worth a fight. Coming in too strong or overbearing might intimidate them or discourage them from facing off against you. Be respectful.
Make sure you communicate the kind of match you want. Do you want something more pro-style or something more MMA? Do you want a submission match or a win by KO? Is there a certain move you want used? A certain move they want used? Do you want to win, lose or just see where things go. The more you talk to your potential opponent, the better, more crafted match you have.
Be warned, you'll get rejected every now and then. It's all part of the game.
Just focus on being the kind of fighter you want to be and finding people looking for the same kind of fantasies as yourself. As time goes on, you'll find more and more opponents and build your reputation. The bigger it gets, the easier finding new prey will be and the more fun you can have.
But enough for today, get out there and find that next awesome match.
