I believe that notes length limits have been changed a few times in the course of previous few months. Up to a year maybe.
I believe that at first it was something pretty long, to a point where I could copy a huge part of the log into it and it worked.
Then I immediately noticed when it was cut to something like 1000 characters. It was very small.
Right now it seems like it cuts at around 4000-5000 characters.
5000 seems a good middle ground. I would kindly ask at at least not make it any smaller than that :( 1000-2000 is too little to store the important bits of information about conversation and player interaction, even with AI summarization and all that.
