Introduction

Ehuang was born in Beijing, and brought up from a young age to be a tai chi practitioner. Despite her demure name and stature, her delicate features, and her upbringing in the affluent city, Ehuang has had a rebellious streak. She openly defies authority, and gets in her fair share of trouble for it. A scrappy girl, if you will.

She's been a fighter at heart from a young age, getting into scraps on the playground, and eventually being enrolled into a Tai Chi dojo. When her sensei was beaten senseless by an MMA practitioner, however, she grew disillusioned with traditional Chinese martial arts. Essentially, she saw her culture laid bare, and as much as it stung, she's never looked back. She ditched Tai Chi, much to her parents' relief, given their prejudice against combat and violence.

Ehuang leads a secret double life, however. Under the moniker of 玄女 Xuanyu, she takes to boxing rings in the underground circuits. Having been enamoured by the pure power of the man who dismantled her master in seconds, she strives to forge her body one martial art at a time, having started with western boxing.

Upbringing

Initially, Ehuang's parents saw her problematic nature, and feared cultural ostracisation. While Ehuang has her temper, for sure, she isn't quite as arrogant outside the ring. As the daughter of a real estate tycoon, she's had premium education, and she never fell behind. Her natural prowess and financial know-how combined with surprising reception to her father's teachings lend themselves to her succession of his empire. She addresses her father's fears by excelling in school, being set to graduate from Beijing's most prestigious Business Academy (BJUT).

Ehuang is a prodigious striker who adapts and learns at a devastating rate. Based on her record-breaking, blistering speed, both of her blows and her footwork, some have gone on to compare her to the likes of Bruce Lee, the Dragon Reborn. She ends her fights like flashes of lightning, making up for her natural build with precise and painful blows. She ends fights quickly, preferring to hunt down the head and put her opponent to sleep... but she isn't above some torture in the corner.

Consequently, her breathing and footwork result in her gassing out pretty early. She also has a short fuse, so provocations and the endurance to wither the initial surgical strikes can let one easily turn the tables on her. She's also young, and has little respect for older combatants.

Kinks: I like to accommodate my partners' preferences a lot, but here are some of mine!
- A good, realistic, gritty, grounded slugfest is my dream fight;
- Pugilistic punishment in the corner or on the ropes gets me pretty wet;
- Body work will never not be hot as hell! Saliva, mouthguard descriptions, sweat, etc. really get me going;
- Technically sound boxing is also hot as hell—I love folks who know what they're doing;
- A narrative that swings according to character dynamics—I like it when undue arrogance is punished, and when overconfidence is cut down to size—y'know, a fight telling its own story and having a moral message!

Winning/ Losing: I would like to say that I'm a genuine switch. Show weakness, and I will go for your throat, but outbox me, though, and I will fold. I don't think cyber fights should be taken on the ego; I've been in real fights, and the difference is night and day. I don't consider it a great show of technical skill that should cause the outcome to reflect on the writers in any manner. I also don't consider in-character past valour to be any indication of how a match should go; I don't care how famous your character is—it's not an excuse to dunk on anyone else. If you can't be a good sport about a fight regardless of its outcome, then please, don't approach me.
