Cyanide is a symbiotic creature formed from the host Aiden, an anthro wolf, and an alien lifeform which attaches to a host and grands distinct abilites for the price of amplifying emotions and urges.
Body type: Muscular
Gear: casual clothes or sportswear when in wolf form, bare when transformed
Introduction
Cyanide is the symbiotic lifeform fused from the Klyntar Krai’deth, a species of symbiotic alien beings from outer space, and his "chosen" host Aiden White.
He resembles a male anthromorphic muscular wolf, less bulky than some of his brethren, but still a powerfully built. His fur is a deep, abyssal black while bright cyan markings cover his body, reminiscent of those of Aiden. His head and face are a terrifying visage of a symbiotic fusion with a grin that stretches wide, rows of razor-sharp teeth and a long, wavy tongue. Yet, despite the alien influence, his face unmistakably retains the wolf shape, a reflection of the Symbiote's host. The cyan spikes protruding from his body, mainly along his back, shoulders and arms are long, sharp and are capable to retract, extend and jabbing outwards a surprisingly long distance. They also can be shed and flung at his prey. They contain a fast acting and complex venom.
Klyntar are sentient, bio-organic lifeforms capable of bonding with other beings in an intricate and adaptive relationship. Their liquid-like biomass functions as muscle, armor, and nerve tissue, allowing them to morph into almost any shape or implement. They are far more than a simple parasite as they are a conscious, shape-shifting organisms that evolve through experience, emotion, and the unique traits of each host. Klyntar do have names in their native language but since most beings can't pronounce those or understand then they are most commonly referred to by the name of the merged Symbiote as well instead.
What makes Klyntar truly exceptional is their capacity to transfer memory and genetic imprint. Each symbiote carries ancestral memory. This can be understood as a library of past hosts, battles, fears, and wisdom. When bonded with a host, this memory can be shared, sometimes violently or gently, depending on the nature of the bond. These inherited memories shape their personalities and reactions, making even young symbiotes old in experience.
Emotion is a vital fuel for Klyntar. They do not just feel them but rather amplify. Rage becomes wildfire, hunger becomes obsession, love becomes possessive. A host's emotional state directly feeds the symbiote, which can enhance or destabilize both. But when emotional harmony is achieved, the bond becomes something powerful: protective, purposeful, and transformative. Each Klyntar mutation is unique. Their abilities and traits are not random but reflective of the host’s biology, psychology, and needs. A symbiote bonded with a war-driven host may become a living weapon, while one bound to a stealth expert might develop cloaking or silence techniques. Over time, their abilities change, shaped by purpose, environment, and instinct.
The merge itself is a sacred act, a fusion of mind, flesh, and will. It is the meeting of two consciousnesses — sometimes harmonious, sometimes violent. Through the merge, both beings become something more. The Klyntar offers strength, agility, and evolution while the host offers guidance, identity, and purpose. From this union, a new singular entity emerges — not just a host in costume, but a shared identity. Hosts experience dramatic transformations after bonding. Physically, they gain incredible strength, resilience, and shape-altering capabilities. Their wounds heal faster, their senses sharpen, and diseases struggle to take hold. The symbiote wraps them in armor of will and instinct. Mentally, the host now shares their mind with another voice which acts as a companion, a critic, a guardian. Emotions may spike, traumas may resurface, and thoughts become a dialogue. Some experience peace for the first time, others face madness.
Abilities granted by the symbiote are never random tricks. They are symbolic, emotional expressions of the merged entity. Tendrils, barbs, toxins, cloaks — each power grows from a need or fear. A host plagued by nightmares might develop sleep-inducing neuro-venoms. A victim of betrayal might gain binding chains or truth-sensing appendages. Every ability is a word in the language of need, trust, and identity.
