Introduction
Diana was born on August 7, 1998 in Ardon, North Ossetia. Her father was a wrestler, but retired early due to injury. The mother also wanted to exercise, but the family wouldn't let her do it. She later suggested that Diana take up freestyle wrestling.
In 2014 and 2015, Diana became the bronze medalist of the Russian Women's Freestyle Wrestling Championship among girls in the 60 kg category.
