Introduction

Captured as just a broodling and tossed into darkest bowls of a slave arena known only as “The Pit” where hideous beasts, sinister demons, and hardened gladiators are pitted against each other in mortal combat. The scrawny pup of an orc was written off for dead. Another scrap of stringy meat to be devoured by the thirsting denizens that stalk the catacomb-like corridors of the fighting stables; and yet… the little orc survived. Darting through the shadows and dodging the slavering, tooth-lined maws of the Pit’s many predators and slaking his hunger on the remains of those who were not so lucky.

In that hell. Those corridors of un-rectified night, the young orc grew fast and grew strong. His muscles hardened to cords iron and swelled on the orgy of violence in that merciless crucible, fighting and killing and dominating until he finally emerged at the top of that unnatural food chain. An apex predator. With a soul stained black and eyes glowing crimsons like two coals socketed hot in his skull. A grim champion and brutal fan favourite of both the gladiatorial arena and the wrestling ring. Never seeing the light of day except for when his masters go to war and deign it fit to unleash their favoured beast upon the battlefield.
