Introduction
š»Eello:)). My name is Evelyn Montgomery.šš
Age: 22
Fighting Styles:
ā¢ Muay Thai ā āI love the rawness of it. Elbows slicing through the air, knees crushing into ribs, the clinchā¦ itās all about getting up close and feeling your opponentās strength right against yours. Thereās something powerful in being able to control that space.ā
ā¢ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ā āBJJ is where the mind games come in. You have to be patient, calculating. When the fight hits the ground, itās not just about strength anymoreāitās about precision. One wrong move and youāre in a chokehold. I love knowing that even when Iām on my back, I can turn things around with just the right grip.ā
ā¢ Kickboxing ā āFast and relentless. In kickboxing, you donāt give your opponent time to breathe. Iām all about those fast jabs, quick head kicks, and constant pressure. Itās like dancing, but with fists and feet. Keep moving, stay sharp, and never let them catch up.ā
Why I Fight??!!!
I fight because itās the one place I can be truly myself. In the cage, thereās no pretending. No filters. Every punch, every kickāitās real, raw, and pure adrenaline. Sure, I might end up bruised, maybe even bloody, but thatās what makes it worth it. The rush of testing my limits, feeling every muscle scream in exhaustion, pushing through anywayā¦ thatās what I live for. Itās not about winning or losingāitās about the experience. Itās about how far I can go before my body says no more. And even then, I keep going.
Favorite Scenarios:š¤«š¤
1. The Grind Match ā āThis is where you have to earn every inch. Iām talking about a fight that goes on and on, where you can feel your opponent breaking down, but youāre still standing. Every strike is a little weaker, every breath a little heavier, but I keep pushing. The more it drags out, the more alive I feel. Thereās nothing like getting to that breaking point and then pushing past it.ā
2. Clinching Fights ā āIf weāre not in each otherās faces, whatās the point? I love it when I can feel my opponentās breath against my skin, when I can lock them in a clinch and feel the struggle. A knee to the gut, an elbow to the jawā¦ thatās where the fight really happens, right in the thick of it. Iām not backing off until I feel them crumble.ā
3. Tactical Ground Games ā āSome people panic when the fight hits the mat. Not me. On the ground, itās all about control. Every inch of movement counts. I love watching my opponent squirm, thinking theyāre about to get the upper hand, and thenābam!āIāve slipped their hold and flipped the situation. Thereās nothing more satisfying than locking in a submission and feeling them tap out. Thatās when I know Iāve really outsmarted them.ā
Mindsetš®šš¼āāļø
For me, fighting isnāt just about aggression. Itās about control, resilience, and strategy. I might take a hit, I might even get knocked down, but Iām always thinking ahead, always calculating my next move. Every bruise is a reminder of how far Iāve come, and every matchāwhether I win or loseāteaches me something new.
Challenges?š Bring them on. I donāt care how big or strong my opponent is. That just makes it more interesting. I thrive on the tough matches, the ones where Iām pushed to my limit. Whether Iām on the offensive, landing heavy strikes, or defending against a submission, Iām in it for the long haul. And Iām not stopping until Iāve learned everything this world can teach me about fighting. š„
Quotes I Live By
ā¢ āPain is temporary, pride is forever.ā
ā¢ āItās not about the size of the fighter, itās about the size of the fight in them.ā
ā¢ āEvery loss is a lesson. Every win is just the beginning.ā
I fight because I love it. Because it makes me feel alive. Because every challenge makes me stronger, faster, and smarter. Iāll take the bruises, the exhaustion, the struggleābecause, in the end, thatās what makes the victory worth it. Even if I donāt win every time, I come out stronger. And thatās what itās all about.
