Introduction

Lao Jia was Born in the Southern Province of Zao in the Empire of Tishan (pronounced Tie-Sh-Anne). From the day she was born, she wanted to be a soldier, but due largely to her gender, she could not achieve that dream. However, after training every day until she was 18, Lao Jia left her home province with her Family to go to the Imperial Capital City of Tiancheng where her father got a job as the city Magistrate. One day, the Emperor made the announcement that the military would be open to both genders and Lao Jia would be the first to join the Imperial Guard. As a guard she is a skilled martial artist, specifically Wushu and Sanda, and is intensely loyal to the Emperor; her only thing is that she hates the political intrigue in the capital and despises corruption, even in the Imperial Household.
