Introduction
Matilda was born in a town called Schifferstadt. Her father, Hans Schröder was known in that town as a Silver-Medalist in Olympic Greco-Roman Style Wrestling and a competitor in MMA. Following in her father's footsteps Matilda would begin her training in MMA at the young age of 5 years old.
With her father's strict training and tough attitude Matilda became a prodigy. In High School Matilda was nicknamed "Die Barbaren Frau" because of her appearance and her ability to viciously slam anyone…including the men who were also scared to wrestle with her.
During her time at High School she and her best friend were into Pro-Wrestling and would watch as many matches together in their free time. Matilda was a big fan of "The Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines and wanted to be just like her when she grows up.
Matilda was feared as the strongest person in the school as she laid claim to an impressive undefeated record of 70-0 in her senior year. Her father Hans was confident that Matilda had gained enough experience to compete in the Octagon Ring.
After Graduation Matilda would begin her career in the European MMA Promotion Scene, bookmarked as a strong Grappler, at the age of 19. Matilda would start off strong winning her first two fights both via. TKO stoppages in the second round. However in her third fight she would face her first loss by submission via. Leg Lock and for her first loss Matilda did not take it all too well. She was so used to winning and when she finally lost it felt like the earth was shattering, but her father Hans would comfort his daughter and began to show the softer side with her. He would give her some great words of wisdom about perseverance, determination and learning from one's mistakes. This loss was something Matilda needed as it taught her to be more humble and to never stay down.
After her first loss Matilda would bounce back to her feet and start right back on track with a 5 fight win streak. At age 21 she would have her first title match as the challenger and won the Champion belt for the 145 pound Featherweight champion against a woman many thought Matilda would have no chance. This victory would give her the gratification she needed as she was so happy to make her father proud.
Matilda would go on to defend her title two times further cementing herself as a true champion…however in her last MMA fight Matilda failed to make weight. She had issues trying to make weight since her first Championship title match where she weighted
One pound above the 145 pound mark and ever since then her struggles got worse and worse, as this time she would weigh in about 150 pounds which was 5 pounds higher. The consequences for the missed weight was that Matilda's fight purse would be cut in half and that her belt be vacated. The fight would still resume but the fatigue from trying to cut weight really paid its toll on Matilda. She would lose the fight via. TKO in the second round and with that Matilda would continue to have more problems with cutting weight. She would lose another fight via. TKO in the third round after missing weight yet again as her purse was cut in half again.
Matilda at age 23 decided it was time to stop. She was done trying to cut weight as Matilda would apologize to the promotion for her inability to meet the required weight limit. She would leave the Promotion with a record of 8-3.
While Matilda was thinking what else to do with her life she turned to Pro-Wrestling. It was something she wanted to do for a while and figured it would be the next best thing moving forward. Matilda would begin getting jacked as she wanted to be just like her Hero Alaina as she managed to get bulkier and weighed about 182 pounds. Once her body was readied up the first thing Matilda did was contact a L.A.W. scout that had interest in her after he heard on social media that she was showing interest in Pro-Wrestling. However Matilda would request to join The Young Lioness Program as she believed she needed to learn and study more about Pro-Wrestling.
