How many female writers are there here?

The website started as a gay male site. Please don't expect to demand number equality for a place that was made when you weren't around. If you look at the paywall of the site, you can see it's men funding this place and as of this post, zero women. You just walked into the gay-male locker room and asked, "Why aren't there any women here??"

Take a space and get busy, you will be noticed.

I was demanding nothing, just asking a question. If I'd known the history I wouldn't have asked.

How long did it take before undesirables started showing up in significant numbers?

Too bad you can't just tack a "Gays Only" sign onto the front door. I'm serious - that might have been a decent way of keeping things from getting out of hand. Today, though, it might be legally actionable. Strange times.

Personally I’m happy in a gay male locker room. I get propositioned less. I do write some stuff but I don’t think it particularly suited to this group

We'll never know if you never try it.

Great to meet you!
I've watched this place evolve from just men doing ring based matches to wild literary roleplay scenes exploding in scope. I like the spy stuff. But true thing, this place evolves because people try new things. Hope to see that happen here.

It looks as though the membership is mostly male. I hope that's wrong.

Chatfighters definitely seems to have far more men than women in general.
