10:21 Man-El: Man-El emerged from the stairs leading up from the Pentagon Metro Station. He surveyed the area carefully, nodding to himself. Man-El concentrated, activating his X-Ray vision, carefully scanning the massive Pentagon lying not far off, his vision penetrating the building’s superstructure, identifying concentrations of troops, soldiers, officers, critical infrastructure as he planned his assault. The soldier never left anything to chance.
10:21 Man-El: But Man-El was no ordinary soldier, he was a Kryptonian. A massive man, his incredibly dense and thick muscle popping out of the simple jeans and muscle-hugging polo shirt he wore. Beneath these simple seeming clothes, he wore the battle uniform of a Kryptonian elite commando in service to the house of Zod.
10:21 Man-El: The Kryptonian had been an elite commando trained on Krypton before the evacuation with General Zod. He had spent his life training in stealth, infiltration, hand to hand combat, battlefield tactics and many more warrior skills. During the evacuation, the powerful proud soldier had been assigned as General Zod's personal bodyguard. During that hectic time, he'd served the General with distinction and pride. When they had woken up on the outskirts of this new solar system, Man-El had discovered himself alone. The other stasis pods holding General Zod and the rest of the team had malfunctioned, keeping them alive but preventing them from being awakened.
10:21 Man-El: Man-El needed to land the massive craft in order to make repairs. So, Man-El went ahead to scout the habitable third planet in a small shuttle to ensure he could safely land the mothership. It was there that he made an incredible discovery … he had gained incredible strength and new abilities. He marveled at the amazing powers granted by the Earth's yellow sun, an ideal location for a new Krypton.
10:21 Man-El: The powerful, deadly soldier stayed low for several years, mastering his new found powers with his supreme discipline and dedication. He'd researched the world with care, learning about these humans, blending in with them, discovering their technology, their military structures and had finally settled on his plan. While primitive, their weapons presented a threat to the damaged mothership. But during his time on this planet, he found nothing that could harm him with his new found power. He would simply dismantle the military might of this world, land the mothership, and the House of Zod would take control.
10:21 Man-El: He was finally ready to execute his plan. The key was taking out the American military first. It was the most advanced, and it’s loss would shatter the morale of the other nations. He smiled and slowly began to walk towards the heavily guarded entrance to the Pentagon.
10:21 Man-El: When it became clear he wasn’t going to stop, the heavily armed military police shouted at him, then fired at him. The look of shock on their hard faces amused Man-El as the bullets from their weapons bounced harmlessly off his skin. He reached up, and ripped open his polo shirt, finally dropping his disguise and revealing his Kryptonian battle suit, the black superstrong material covering his chest proudly displaying the Z which was the sign of the House of Zod.
10:21 Man-El: Almost as an afterthought, he directed his heat vision at the weapons of the military police, melting them to slag, sweeping his arm to knock the Sgt in command with a blow that sent him flying through the air to smash like a bug into the side of the Pentagon.
10:21 Man-El: Walking forward, he carefully aimed his heat vision again, targeting the spot where a gas line supplied the enormous building. There was an incredible explosion that rocked the city. Striding through the flames, Man-El smiled.
[15-Aug-22 05:48 PM] Brock Armstrong#0000
"I had no idea your parents used to work with the Pentagon, dude..."
"Heh, neither did i."
It was a rather hot summer day at the city of Arlington, Virginia and with the summer heat on the rise, one could be doing sorts of activities like going to the beach or staying at home but for both Brock Armstrong and Patton Bowman, they had other activities today. After a long drive from New York City to the United States of Pentagon, the two friends was nearing the location of the building before an explosion can be heard and felt across the street. "Jesus, what the fuck..." Brock friend's, Patton cursed as he, like everyone else began walking out of their vehicle to see the burning flames from afar. There was only one place that could be and that was;
The Pentagon.
"Is that, what i think it is...??" Patton was still looking at the destruction ahead of him as brock clenched his fists tight, knowing that something bad is happening at the Pentagon. And whatever it is that caused the explosion, it was no good. Turning around to face his friend, Brock then grabbed his bag from the front seat as he began to spoke up, not wanting for his friend to be worry.
"You'll go back to the motel. I gotta make sure that everyone's there safe and sound." Since the Pentagon was not far from where he is, Brock didn't get a chance to hear what he was saying as the 6'6" individual rushed through the streets and began tearing his shirt off. Gone with the clothes that he was wearing as it revealed a green sleeveless spandex costume followed a symbol of a fist in the centre of his chest and once the clothes were completely ground, Brock crouched down as he mustered up the strength in both of his legs and leaped up high off the ground.
It was time for BRUISER to take action.
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: Upon arriving at the scene of the Pentagon, what Bruiser was now seeing was fire and authorities doing their best to try and contain. Being a hero that he is, he soon began helping out by picking up some rubbles and threw them with ease. Although he has yet to make a name for himself for being a superhero, Bruiser liked it better if he stayed anonymous. But things soon didn't turn that way as an arrival of a heavily muscular man with a symbol of a Z caught the hero's attention. "What the..."
Slowly approaching the floating man, Bruiser had never thought that he'd be seeing someone with these kinds of power manifested after months of patrolling back in New York City. And whoever this person is, Bruiser could tell that this man was up to no good as evident from his wicked smile. For confirmation, Bruiser narrowed his eyes behind his half mask as he began to speak up; "Who are you?? Were you the one that blew up the facility??" Regardless of the answer, Bruiser's questions had made him clenched his fists tight and slowly walked up to him without showing no fear whatsoever.
"There's still time for you to turn yourself in and explain what you did." There was a sense of doubt that was displayed on Bruiser's face as he kept staring into the eyes of the mysterious man. It was hard for Bruiser to pin point on who the person is but if he was the one that destroyed the Pentagon, who knows, maybe this was a beggining of something, big
10:21 Man-El: Carefully, ignoring the scurrying, panicking human soldiers trying to figure out what is happening, Man-El floats forward through the flames, scanning the Pentagon again. He identifies a hardened bunker deep inside used as a bomb proof control center. Bomb proof perhaps, but not Kryptonian proof. That is the elite commando's target. Ignoring another burst of gunfire directed at him, he is considering the best way to crack the bunker when someone addresses him.
Man-El turns slowly, the steel-cabled, combat forged muscles straining the seams of his battle uniform as he studies the insane, brave fool who had the balls to confront him.
Man-El's eyes widen as he takes in the sight of the man standing not far away. The man radiated power and muscle, his green uniform showing off every stone hard, sharp cut line of his impressive physique. During his time spent studying the earth, preparing for this assault, he'd ran across lesser beings held up as heros by the primitive humans, but none of them were capable of standing up to Man-El. He had dismissed them. This must be one of those "heros" he had not heard of. No matter, a light diversion would make this attack all the more interesting.
Man-El replied, "An explanation you say? This is all the justification I need." Man-El drew back his fist, the entire time staring deep into the earth hero's eyes, the confidence of his training and his power unfaltering. Then, with his superhuman biceps and chiseled abs rippling with might, Man-El surged forward, flying down at a suddenly insane speed, driving his fist directly towards the earth hero's powerfully muscled core.
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: "An explanation you say? This is all the justification I need."
Those wore the only chilling words that came out from the mysterious man as he began flying straight towards Bruiser. The closer the hero looked, the more he saw the chiseled frame of a man right in front of him and it only took a couple of seconds until a powerful punch was thrown to his core causing him flying and crashing from bunkers to trucks before halting to a stop.
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: "Okay. Should've seen that one coming."
Bruiser groaned in annoyance as he rubbed the back of his head. It was a powerful punch to say the least but it was gonna take more than that to bring the hero down. Getting back up on his feet, Bruiser then rolled his shoulder and was ready to jump back in. "Alright. Where is he...??"
Looking around to scan the area, Bruiser had thought that the mysterious man had left but was surprised to see that he was still continuing on his assault on Pentagon after screams of chaos can be heard not far from the hero was standing. Cursing under his breath, Bruiser quickly ran towards the chaos and saw the mysterious man still floating in the air releasing what appears to be heat vision destroying some buildings.
That sight alone made Bruiser's blood boil as he leaped up high into the air and yells out at the man for attention. "HEY ASSHOLE" Ducking his fist down, the hero the delivers a massive uppercut to the man's chin resulting him to be flown higher up into the air. Once Bruiser landed back on the ground, the hero mustered up the strength in his leg muscled and leaped as Hugh as he can to reach where the mysterious man was. Interlocking both of his fists together, he then throws a strong hammer punch to the man's jaw causing him to instantly fly down towards a tank, exploding it in the process.
10:21 Man-El: Man-El was surprised when he felt the impact of his fist on the earth hero's thickly muscled abs. This man's muscle actually offered resistance to the Kryptonian Commando's incredible might. But in the end, it didn't matter. The earth hero was blasted across the freeway, surely dead. Ignoring the fly he'd just swatted, Man-El turned his attention back to the Pentagon.
Refocusing on the control bunker situated deep in the burning compound, Man-El unleashed another volley of heat vision. The blast slammed into the reinforced concrete and steel structure, burning through it bit by bit... his vision had just managed to finish penetrating the thick outer shell, slamming into the middle of the gathered command staff, superheating the air. The men screamed, but just then, Man-El heard someone shout at him.
Confused, Man-El lets his heat vision dissipate, turning to swat another fly, when suddenly what feels like a cruise missile smashes into the underside of his jaw. The blow sends a shockwave of pain... the first pain he'd felt since coming to earth, radiating out from his battered square jaw. Dazed by the incredible blow, he loses control of his body, flipping end over end, before starting to plummet back to earth, only to be met by an even stronger blow that slammed into the side of his jaw, whipping his head savagely to one side, sending some blood spraying out of his mouth. The agony from that blow made the first one seem like a love tap, as barely concious, his body slammed down into a tank on the grounds of the Pentagon with an explosion of tortured metal.
10:21 Man-El: Groaning, dazed, Man-El hung onto conciousness only by the virtue of his intense training as an elite Kryptonian commando. He sat up, wiping away the blood dripping out of his mouth, his entire jaw radiating an intense, brutal agony. The blow had very nearly broken his jaw. A fiery rage started to burn inside him as he sat up from the wreckage.
One of these pathetic humans dared to challenge him? Chest heaving, his battle-trained mind focused through the pain and shock. The foolish hero had turned to assist one of the gravely injured soldiers, no doubt thinking that Man-El was knocked out. Snarling, Man-El quietly walked forward, he was done playing now. Calling on his considerable combat training and martial arts skill, Man-El cocked his fist, his bicep flexing so powerfully, it nearly ripped the seam. Tapping the over muscled human hero on the shoulder, he timed it perfectly, unleashing every single ounce of his considerable might in the right cross that slammed into the hero's thick, square jaw as he turned. He'd never used so much of his strength before.
The blow smashed the powerful hero back towards the freeway, directly into the side of a massive gasoline tanker truck. At the very moment that the hero's muscle slammed and ruptured the enormous fuel tank, Man-El fired a savage blast of his heat vision into the tank. The resulting explosion and inferno was deafening, shattering windows for blocks in every direction, and sending out a wave of sheer heat that caused nearby trees to burst into flame. Luckily, most of the people had already fled the scene. Overhead, several news helicopters hovered, the shocked and amazed reporters trying to make sense of what was happening beneath them.
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: Hoping that his blows would give some time for Bruiser to help the remaining guards on the ground, the hero manages to lift up some debris and began helping those who were trapped and injured. While some of the people started to question who he was, Bruiser gave them a reassuring smile and a wave of his hand signifying that it didn't matter considering the situation they were in. "Just a guy passing through..."
Those were the only answer that Bruiser could give as he watched the remaining civilains run to safety, figuring that the mysterious man was still down, the hero was about to check on the said man until a tap on his shoulder took him by surprise. Turning around to see who it was, Bruiser didn't expect to see fist slammed onto his jaw causing him to fly a good feet away into the freeway outside of the Pentagon.
The blow was so strong that it managed to send Bruiser crashed into a gasoline tank. Luckily the freeway was empty with vehicles so casualties was off the table. But that didn't stop the mysterious man to start shooting out heat vision from his eyes and into the fuel tank which resulted a massive boom where the entire street and city could feel it. Smoke can be seen covering the area followed by an overhead sounds of helicopter news flying on the air. And if the man thought that his barrages of heat vision worked, he was mighty wrong;
Walking out of the fiery smoke was now Bruiser, who appeared to be shirtless from the waist down leaving only his ruined half mask and tight boxers intact. If the man could see behind the smoke, Bruiser was now a massive giant muscle of the man and while he had no injuries on him so far, his frame was enough to rival the man.
Who was this Bruiser??
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: Letting out several coughs, Bruiser stared at the man with intensity before cracking his knuckles. "You're not from around here, are ya??" Slowly walking towards the mysterious man, the hero spoke up again; "I don't know who you are or where you came from. But you better have some damn good reason why you attacked this place." The hero said ferociously behind his Texan accent and regardless if he got his answer or not;
Bruiser wasn't gonna let the man get away from this.
Rearing both of his arms at the back, Bruiser then delivers a massive thunderclap so strong it blew off the smoke in the area and into the man's direction. Figuring that this was the perfect time to strike, Bruiser hurled himself into the air and kneed the mysterious man by the abdomen and slammed him on the ground. The impact was enough to shook the street but that wasn't enough for Bruiser to continue his onslaught by lifting him up by the hips and hurled face first onto the solid ground which caused an after shock detonated from the impact leaving the man deep into a massive circular crevasse formed by the said impact.
10:21 Man-El: Staring intently at the fireball, Man-El's xray vision easily penetrated the heat, smoke and flames, following the progress of the powerful hero as he strode out of the burning wreckage, seemingly unharmed. Man-El's eyes narrowed as the now nearly naked hero addressed him. The fire had burned away his uniform, leaving only half of his mask barely covering his ruggedly handsome heroic features.
So, this ... being ... was not to be trifled with. And all the time Man-El had thought no one on this primitive rock was in his league. Man-El smiled, and replied, some of the bruising on his jaw fading as his supercharged Kryptonian metabolism absorbed the light of this planet's sun to begin repairing the damage. The elite Kryptonian Commando replied, "I have the best reason of all. The reason I am attacking this place is that you and your species are too weak and pathetic to stop me. You are more concerned with conquering and killing one another. Kryptonian rule will be a blessing to your species."
Man-El flipped the mental switch inside his mind that put him into full combat mode, adjusting his thinking, tactics, and strategies for facing off with an equal, rather than an annoyance. The elite Kryptonian soldier relished the challenge of putting his skills and training, his incredible might, up against an equal.
10:21 Man-El: So it was, that when the earth hero let out a massive thunderclap that sent out a wave of destructive sonic energy, Man-El was ready. He wasn't caught by surprise, bracing himself for the onslaught. Man-El's elite training kicked in, and he braced himself with one knee against the concrete, rising the other to deflect the hero's knee with an expert block just in time before it could spear him in the abs. Cracks spread out into the concrete behind his planted foot, but despite his efforts to brace himself, still the charge of the earth hero blasted him back.
Eyes flashing, Man-El rose up to his feet in an instant, only to be caught off guard by the ferocious power and speed of the hero, finding himself seized just as he was rising up around his waist, and thrown face first to the concrete. Man-El took the brunt of the impact with his thick muscled forearms, sending out a plume of debris as the forces involved easily fractured and cratered the concrete pavement. Grunting, Man-El flipped himself over onto his back in a flash, his legs opening faster than lighting, employing one of his hand to hand combat techniques to sweep the hero's legs out from under him.
Just as the hero hit the ground, Man-El had rolled forward onto his knee and sprang onto his broad back, wrapping his incredible legs around the hero's massive core in a figure four body scissors, his arm shooting forward, under the hero's chin, using all his speed and skill to lock on a rear naked choke. The pressure as Man-El constricted his legs would have torn a tank in two. Man-El snarled, "Your defiance will cost you, earthman."
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: As expected, the man won't go down without a fight and that was evident from his fighting skills as the man sprang behind Bruiser's broad back and began wrapping his muscular legs around the hero's body core in a figure gour body scissor. It was a common move in the mixed martial arts world and to have the move on Bruiser was something that the hero wasn't expecting. Not only that but the man quickly shoot up his arm to the hero's chin resulting in a rear naked choke.
It was a devastating move as Brock could feel that the air inside of him was being clogged. Once he heard the man spoke, that got Bruiser's mind racing on what to do so without wanting to know what happens next, he soon has both of his hands grabbed a hold of the the man's right wrist and left thigh and began to grip it hard.
There was a part of him wanted to break his bones but was just his rageful thinking as he knew he had to be smart about this. So with one mighty yell, Bruiser kept tighten his grip before using the back of his head to smack the man's nose in hopes that he'd let go.
10:21 Man-El: Man-El's muscles, flexing harder and tighter than cabled steel, rippled with extreme might as his legs began to compress the solidly muscled core of the earth hero, feeling those fortress like abs and ribs begin to bend inwards under the pressure. For his part, Man-El had never encountered such incredible muscle density and strength on earth, it was taking all his effort and concentration to crush this insolent hero. His bicep, wrapped tight around the hero's thick neck, a sheer column of muscle harder than a concrete pillar, flexed and peaked as he began to apply crushing force.
He grunted once, the effort he was expending causing the powerful Kryptonian to begin sweating heavily. He didn't have limitless energy, the sun could only recharge him so fast, but he was determined to crush this muscled upstart of a hero. He felt the man shudder beneath his devastaing grip, he knew that the earth titan was weakening. It was only a matter of time now... then, he felt the earthman's grip on his right wrist and his left thigh. He gasped at the crushing force the hero unleashed on his wrist, as the earth hero's mighty fingers tried to dig into the steel cables of his quad muscles.
Growling low in his throat, Man-El summoned up another surge of power, forcing his thigh to flex harder, slowly resisting the hero's grip. His arm began to tremble with effort, as he fought against the crushing grip on his wrist. He would have done it... would have fully resecured his grip, until suddenly the back of the hero's head smashed into his face, dazing him.
10:21 Man-El: Cursing, Man-El felt his thigh and arm slip as the shock of the head butt weakened his grip. The hero was rolling free! Shaking out his head to clear the cob webs, his mighty chest heaving, Man-El reached out to grip the chin of the hero just as he had managed to break free and roll onto his front, his other hand reaching down to seize the hero's ankle. Moving with the speed and skill of a deadly fighter, the Kryptonian Commando drove his knees deep into the powerful hero's spine, right over his kidneys, the small of his back. Letting out a roar of power and frustration, Man-El rolled backwards, suspending the powerful hero above him, as he did his very best to snap the massively muscled earth hero's spine in two, pulling as hard as he could on his chin and leg, attempting to break his back!
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: The headbutt worked miraculously as Bruiser felt the grip from the man started to weakened and it was the perfect opportunity for the hero to roll away to safety...that is, until his chin was successfully grabbed by the man followed by the other hand grabbing his ankle. "Okay, this is not good..." As soon as he spoke to himself in his mind, a powerful knee onto his spine caused the hero to widened his eyes in surprise as he yelped out a sensation of pain.
The man started to roar as loud as he can after rolling backwards suspending Bruiser underneath his knees. It didn't help much either that the man's other hand was on his chin making it harder for the hero to break free. Thrashing his hands around, Bruiser had to give props to the man for such movements as it would've made his mother proud. But regardless of that, what's important now was to break free from this hold. The man's hold was rough and strong and even though Bruiser could tell that there was anger behind those grip, he decided to use that as an advantage.
With the man's thigh exposed, Bruiser used his free hand and deliver one powerful punch to the thigh in hopes that it would loosen the hold. If it doesn't, Bruiser would keep it going and going before using his other fist to throw down onto the man's nose...intending to break it with such force.
10:21 Man-El: Power rippled up and down the length of Man-El's awesomely muscled form as he stretched the earth hero in the bow and arrow maneuver, directing more punishment and brutality to the hero's core, the same area he'd targeted with his earlier crushing body lock. Sweating with even more effort, the Kryptonian soldier felt the hero's back and muscles bend further and further... Suddenly, he felt the hero's fist smash into his thigh. The blow was brutally hard, despite the fact that the earth hero was awkwardly punching backwards and behind him, a testament to how strong this over muscled earth creature was. Pain radiated out from the impact point, his powerful quad trembling under the assault.
Man-El could feel himself starting to tire, he was depleting his energy far faster than the sun could recharge it. It was time to change tactics and get a quick breather. With a further roar, Man-El suddenly released his grip on the hero's ankle and chin, luckily, just in time to avoid getting bashed in his face by the desperate hero.
His mighty legs unwound like a set of supercharged springs, catapulting the powerful hero straight up into the air. But not randomly... with precision and skill, Man-El flung the earth hero directly into one of the hovering news choppers!!! The pilot clearly tried to adjust his course, but the hero's hard muscled body, weaponized by the clever Kryptonian, was moving too fast, smashing into the chopper mid-air!! Fire exploded out, debris rained down as Man-El regained his feet, taking in deep lungfuls of air and feeling some of his energy recharge. It took a LOT of strength to deal with this earth creature.
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: Once the man let go of his grip, there was a relief that came to mind and to think that was over was more of an understatement as the man catapulted the hero straight up into the air. This felt like bungee jumping for some reason and when Bruiser thought that it wouldn't get worse, it just gotten even more terrible as he crashed through one of the news choppers in the sky.
"Shit shit shit shit..." Glancing back to see the damage he had done, Bruiser quickly flew down using the momentum that was given and landed on top of the now spiralling out of control chopper. Using the strength that he still has, Bruiser rips the roof with his bare hands and quickly grabbed both of the pilot, newswoman and her cameraman out of the spinning vehicle. "HOLD ON TIGHT.'''" Taking a big leap away from the falling chopper, the hero and the passenger on board made it back on the ground as the sight of an explosion can be seen from where they were.
"Thank God."
"That was so close. Fucking close."
"Holy shit. Are you okay??"
-
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: The newswoman's voice had the both pilot and cameraman to turn around and see Bruiser, who was still half naked with his tight boxers on, crouching one knee on the ground taking a heavy breather. The man's attack and hold did manage to take a toll on Bruiser but the thought of giving up now was not an option as the hero looks up at them with a reassuring smile on his face. Despite the bruised body, the reddish look on his muscular tanned skin, Bruiser stood back up and towered the group of people and spoke up;
"Yeah. I'm fine. Just, needed a breather." It was here, the newswoman began to ask barrages of question ranging from who he is to whoever the man that he was fighting. Not that Bruiser could blame anyone but he knew for a fact that something like this had never happened for the past centuries and to witness something like happening now was, beyond what everyone would imagine. As Bruiser was about to give out a small answer, the hero noticed more news chopper was coming their way signifying that it was time to leave.
And find that asshole, of course.
"I'm confused as you are, ma'am but if you're wondering who i am. Name's Bruiser." With a salutation, the half naked hero leaped away from the scene and jumped from rubbles to rubbles to find any sign of the mysterious man.
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: It didn't take long until Bruiser spotted someone on the ground mid-air and from the shape of the figure, it was clear that it was the mysterious man. Figuring that he too was taking a breather after all that assault, now it's time to pay back and give the hurt to him. And hopefully found out more about who and what he really is especially that one word that kept replaying on the hero's head. Kyrptonian. Was that a race?? His race?? And why would a race like that would come and destroy humankind let alone ruling?? Whatever the case is, Bruiser was intent to find the answer that he needs.
"DON'T LOOK UP, ASSHOLE." Regardless if the man heard him or not, Bruiser landed right in front of the man causing the ground to shake before a handful of the man's hair and slammed it on the nearest car trunk. It wasn't done yet as Bruiser lets go of his hold and delivers a strong hooks left and right to the man's face before smashing it back to the same car trunk, only this time the impact was strong to flattened the vehicle.
With his hold to the man's neck as strong as the one that was given to him earlier, Bruiser had to make sure that he didn't shoot out any heat vision so he kept pressing down on the man's head and neck before started talking;
"I'm gonna ask you again, Kryptonian, who are you?? How long have you been here?? And why now?? Today of all days..."
10:21 Man-El: Man-El watched in confusion... and a grudging respect, as the hero managed to somehow pull off an extraordinary rescue of the crew of the chopper. It was incredible, Man-El gave the earth hero his dues. He was a worthy foe, though why he expended so much effort to save these primitives was beyond him. With his power, he could be their ruler.
As the mighty earth being slammed back to earth, Man-El took a precious few moments to recharge his energy, breathing deep and letting the golden rays of this strange planet sink deep into his body. He'd expended so much in his battle, that it would take time to fully recharge. Time that apparently, he didn't have.
Before he was back to 100%, he heard a voice snarling from above him. WHAT?? HOW was it possible?? He had been focusing on recharging instead of keeping an eye on his environment, instead of following up on his earlier attack. You never, ever, turn your back on the enemy. That was basic training for even the rawest recruit. Earth had made him go soft... and he was paying the price.
Before the Kryptonian soldier had a chance to react, his head was violently seized and smashed into the trunk of a nearby car. A shudder ran through his body, the impact was nothing to sneeze at, not even for a Kryptonian. The blow dazed him, left him vulnerable.
The flurry of blows that rocked his solid square jaw from side to side sent explosions of bone-searing agony ripping through his handsome face, sending blood dribbling out of the side of his mouth from the sheer brutality of the assault. He again found himself smashed brutally into the car, as it had now collapsed completely beneath the force of the earth hero's assault on the Kryptonian soldier.
10:21 Man-El: His face was being ground into the rubble, the grip on the back of his head holding his face down was unbelievable, sending pain spiking through his skull. He was forced to listen to the earth hero's question. Grunting, Man-El chose to respond, in part to gain himself time to consider his options. "My name, earthman, is Man-El. I have been on this primitive world long enough to learn that your people are incapable of governing themselves. You are a disgrace to intelligent species everywhere. If I had not decided to conquer your primitive race to serve as a new homeworld for my people, your kind would no doubt have destroyed themselves and their planet in a few short years. As for why today? Today was as good a day as any to hasten the salvation of your race." All the while he talked, spitting out his words into the rubble beneath his face was being ground into, his finely trained mind had determined a course of action.
Faster than lighting, with smooth precision, Man-El reached up behind him to seize the wrist of the massive man holding the back of his head. His commando training included many ways to hurt, maim, kill, and stun an enemy. Some of them brute force, and some more subtle. His index finger stabbed like the blade of a knife into the precise location on the tendon of the earth hero's wrist, delivering a spike of force that sent a wave of numbness through the hero's wrist, a savage nerve strike.
10:21 Man-El: Man-El kept an iron hard grip on the hero's wrist, feeling it weaken, as with his other hand, he violently pushed himself up off the ground, blood leaking from his battered face. He was in pain, severe pain, but he was a trained soldier, and pain was not his master. He smashed himself into the earth hero's massive chest, back first, and without an ounce of wasted motion, heaved himself forward, using his grip on the hero's weakened wrist to judo toss the massive muscled hero over his shoulder, to smash him back first through the car next to them, now there were two smashed cars.
Fluidly, he finally let go of the hero's arm, dropping down, breathing deep, his chest heaving, to drive his knee CRUNCHHHHHHHH directly on the hero's ruggedly handsome face, while he lifted his fists, his biceps flaring with power, and drove his mighty arms down like super powered jackhammers, targeting the hero's core. His right fist smashed into the hero's right hand ribs, deliberately seeking out the short ribs, using his combat training to deliver maximum force to the hero's core, looking to unleash unbelievable force and destruction on the hero's rib cage. So fast that the news chopper could only see a blur of motion, Man-El's left fist drove down slamming thunder like into the powerful hero's left hand ribs, unloading it's payload of destruction, seeking to smash the hero in ways he had never experienced.
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: As it turns out, the mysterious man's name was Man-El and every word that came out from his bloody mouth was nothing sort of genuine. Still pressing down on the Kryptonian's head, Bruiser heard what he had to say about his reason and a part of him really believe that he made sense about how Earth has the incapability of governing themselves. But despite all that reason, that didn't gave Man-El and his race the right to just conquer the entire world. Sure they were primitive but that's just is, it was human nature. Something that Man-El doesn't known what he's talking about.
And if they thinking about conquering Earth, they'll have to step over his dead body.
"Looks like that's going well fro you huh..." Cracking out a joke, Bruiser grinned behind his ruined mask and began looking around to see what kind of things he could use to tie up the Kyrptonian. But as soon he started to look away from Man-El, a strong grip on the wrist took the hero by surprise as the Kryptonian continued by jabbing his index finger to the tendon of his wrist. That got a yelped of pain from him as he kept his hold onto the man's head.
-
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: Bruiser felt that his wrist was weakened and it took the opportunity for Man-El to gripped it tighter and judo tossed the hero onto the next vehicle causing it to be flattened by the sheer force of an impact. That was not done yet on Man-El's behalf as he continued on by bashing his hammer jacked fists onto his body. Each punches felt like a mix between sledgehammer and jackhammers as the force was enough to cause an after shock in between punches. Few of the remaining vehicles in the area started to ring out alarms but that didn't stop the Kryptonian's assault.
"Goddammit. He's relentless." Bruiser thought to himself as he took in the pain from the punches. Feeling that his rib cage started to crack especially since the Kyrptonian's punches were like lightning, it was only a matter of time until his body would give away so Bruiser had to act fast.
With an angry look on his face, Bruiser successfully grabbed ahold of Man-El's incoming left fist and started to crush it underneath his hand. Feeling a crack of bone or two, Bruiser didn't want for the Kyrptonian to react quickly so the hero slammed his free fist onto the man's face causing him to fly up Hugh into the air in-between the flying choppers.
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: Watching Man-El up on the sky, Bruiser crouched down and hold his stomach as the pain was starting to get him. Figuring that he still needs time to recover, Bruiser shakes his head out of that thought as adrenaline began rushing through his muscular veins. Crouching down, Bruiser then jumped as high as he can and as ge went through the choppers in between, there was a strong wind coming from the jump causing the choppers to lose it's balance a bit.
The half naked hero was now closer to Man-El in the air and using his head as a spear to collide with the Kryptonian's hard body, soon the hero grabbed a hold of the man's strong fabric and began pounding his fist onto the man's face over and over and over before ending it with one powerful punch that sends him down onto the underground parking underneath the Pentagon.
10:21 Brock_Armstrong: ((This but in the sky))
10:21 Man-El: Man-El focused with supreme effort, as his fists smashed deep into the thick layers of muscle and bone, unleashing shockwaves of brutal force into the earth hero's ribs. He could feel the muscle start to break down, he could feel the ribs weaken, just a few more blows and he'd break this foolish hero's ribs like kindling. Suddenly, between one moment and the next, Man-El discovered yet again the power and resilience of this strange super being from earth. His descending left fist was suddenly caught in a bone-cracking grip by the hero's own left hand.
The pressure was enormous, and as he knelt on top of the hard-muscled earth hero, his knee digging into the earthman's face, he let out a cry of shock and surprise. The bones of his left hand were shifting under the tight grip, the force was incredible, and warning waves of pain began to assault him as the force was in danger of breaking bones.
Then, the hero's right fist shot up from the ground, and clipped the side of his face. The blow was not nearly as powerful as the earlier assault, but again despite being thrown from an akward position, it was far more powerful than Man-El expected. His head snapped to the side, and he saw stars. He decided at that point to beat a tactical retreat and regroup.
He flew up high into the air, hovering between the two news choppers. His face ached, his mouth was still bleeding, but he let himself recover for a few moments, recharging his energy further and allowing his enhanced Kryptonian metabolism to begin healing his bruised and battered face. But again, the earth hero gave him no respite.
10:21 Man-El: With shocking speed and force, the half naked, muscled behemoth leapt up straight at him, coming in at an unbelievable speed. Growling, shouting defiance, Man-El stood his ground, as the shockwave of the earth hero's mighty leap rocked the choppers who were filming the unbelievable battle. The mighty hero's head slammed into Man-El's thickly muscled torso, the shock of the impact temporarily stunning Man-El.
But Man-El's combat training was nearly instinctual, and without thought he began to guard himself, preparing to retaliate. Before he could throw a punch, the thickly muscled earth being had seized his uniform, and was sending a flurry of relentless punches towards his head. The first blow slammed into his already hurt jaw, snapping his head to the side with sickening force, ejecting one of Man-El's teeth and a spray of blood that shot out and coated the windshield of a nearby news chopper.
The pain was incredible, and Man-El's mind was in shock. But the second punch hit Man-El's thickly muscled forearm, on pure survival instinct, the battered Kryptonian soldier had got his guard in place, his arms covering up his face, deflecting most of the rest of the flurry of blows. The flurry might well have knocked out Man-El if his combat trained instincts hadn't protected his face. The impact was still incredible, and Man-El's forearms were starting to bruise, and the knockback of even a deflected punch smashed his own arms into his face, keeping Man-El off balance. The elite Kryptonian had never faced a foe as relentless as this earth titan.
10:21 Man-El: Finally, one final blow smashed into Man-El's guard, sending Zod's bodyguard plummeting down towards the Pentagon car park. Grimly, Man-El called on all his discipline and iron will to recover his scattered wits, spearing through the pain fogging his mind, as blood leaked out of his mouth, a gap now in his perfect rows of teeth. Below him, just beside the car park, the military had towed in a missile battery, no doubt intending to use it to stop him. One of the most fundamental rules of his training... find a way to use the enemy's weapons against them. Exerting a tremendous amount of effort, he controlled his tumble, regaining his flight and let loose a precise calculated blast of heat vision at the missile battery. The payload of the missiles exploded in spectacular fashion, raising a cloud of smoke and flames, incinerating the soldiers manning the battery.
Man-El smiled as he plunged into the expanding cloud of smoke and flames. Now... he was hidden to his enemy by the cloud of smoke, flames, and debris. But his enemy was not hidden from him. In a fraction of a second, Man-El had scanned the skies and located the precise position and trajectory of the plummeting form of the powerfully muscled earth hero. Digging deep into his energy stores, Man-El shot up towards his plummeting foe, accelerating with such ferocity he quickly approached the sound barrier.
10:21 Man-El: With precise timing, Man-El shot out of the smoke barrier just as the plummeting earth hero reached it. Man-El broke the sound barrier at the exact instant his outstretched fist impacted the bottom of the powerful earth hero's chin in the mightiest uppercut the world had ever experienced, transferring all his power, all his incredible momentum and destructive force directly to the hard, heroic square jaw of earth's defender. The shockwave of the impact spread out violently, ripping apart the cloud of smoke and flame, and sending the two choppers out of control, flattening trees and knocking down the soldiers clustered below. The force caused part of the damaged Pentagon to collapse, the screams of crushed soldiers and military officials audible under the rubble.
