About PicFight [REMASTERED]

Hi, welcome to Picfight REMASTERED!

Long has the Pic Fighters federation been abandoned on Chatfighters. While it originally served its purpose as a hub for our beloved activity, it could only go so long without any sort of moderation. We hope to bring back that same feeling of community that the federation once had while doing our best to keep out trolls and other rude people. While anyone with a sincere love of picfighting is welcome to join, we'd also like to maintain a standard of quality. OOC rudeness or doing things like repeatedly leaving in the middle of a scene will not be tolerated.
Aside from reviving an old federation, we do have some new features planned as well. We'll be employing dedicated judges, hosting a ranking system and much more in the future!

The following activities are encouraged:

1) HMP (Hit-Miss-Pass)
2) Judged contests
3) HMP with audience participation! (These are similar to a standard HMP, only they're done in a private room with an audience. Whenever one person passes, the audience members can post a picture as well. These often snowball out of control much faster if someone passes to an audience member.)
4) Hybrid Fights (A combination of picfighting with more traditional fighting styles)
5) RP Stakes
6) Other fighting styles (While picfighting is the focus here, spontaneous escalation can be unavoidable at times. If you end up having a catfight, wrestling match, full-on sexfight or anything else with another member here. You'd be welcome to share the story and count it for the rankings, it's encouraged! ♥)

Rules

1) Playful trash-talking is encouraged but please be respectful OOC
2) Don't make a habit of starting fights you can't finish or repeatedly leaving scenes.
3) Know your audience (While we allow both men and women to join our federation, please realize that the majority of our members are here for FvF competition. Use tasteful pictures that the majority of our members would like to see. So no random dick picks or anything too graphic when it comes to guys. Although that's perfectly fine in private with a willing partner~)
4) No pestering other members, if someone doesn't want to fight you, don't keep blowing up their DMs.
5) Don't block admins/moderators (we need to be able to see the chat to do our job)
6) Don't clone other people's models without their consent. Models/Characters will be given priority on a first come, first serve basis. If you're using the same reference model as an existing member, they need to give permission before you're approved. Exceptions can be made in the event of prolonged inactivity.
7) Characters must be at least a week old or be an alt of someone already inside the fed.
8) No clankers allowed! (Yes I know this is a picfighting federation but if you're caught using AI to write your posts for you, you'll be booted :P)
9) Have a clear and consistent reference model, AI isn't really the target audience here.
10) No use of commands is allowed by any member in the main fed chat. (Mods excluded)

Ranking System Information

If you're wondering how to get your match counted for the rankings, there is no pressure to play the scene out in public or post it as a story here (although if you do feel like sharing, by all means we'd be thrilled for you to do so!) All that is required is for the loser to either post their loss in the chat or make a forum post announcing the results. If Kate beats Suzy, Suzy should announce her loss in public and then one of our staff will reflect the results in our rankings.
Please note that whether or not a scene should count for rankings should be discussed BEFORE the match takes place and agreed upon by the participants. Think of it in the same way you would stakes in general. It's a wager/agreement that is made and should be honored.
Also worth mentioning that potential abuse of this system will be investigated. While the scene itself may not be public, we do actually expect our members to compete, so no handing your friends free wins or using your own alts to accomplish the task. Let's be fun and fair people! To prevent win farming specific opponents, you cannot gain a ranked win from the same opponent more than once per week. The weekly cycle will reset every Monday (12:00am PST).
Ranking Points Calculations

Picfight Remastered utilizes a simple system designed to keep our members active and engaged without punishing losses too severely. Pretty much how it works is that whenever someone wins a match, they'll be awarded 3 points. If they lose a match, a single point will be subtracted from their total, while draws will add one point. To put things in perspective, let's say that Suzy has a record of 10(wins)-7(losses)-1(draw), that would mean she would be awarded 30 points for her wins (3 x 10), would have 7 points subtracted due to losses and would have one point added for the draw, leaving her with a point total of 24. Kate on the other hand has a record of 6-1-0, that means she would have 18 points worth of wins and with her single loss, she'd have 17 points in total.
Hopefully you get the idea there but whoever has the most points will be #1 on the leaderboards. We may plan some tournaments or events in the future and matches that are apart of those could very well be worth more points overall. In any case, those would be covered in forum threads dedicated to the corresponding events. These rules are purely for the day to day rankings in the federation.
👑 The Crown 👑

Independent of the ranking system, we also have a 👑 up for grabs! The crown will be given to whoever is in first place as soon as it rolls over to September 1st (12:00am PST). Then from then on, the only way to earn the crown is to defeat whoever is holding it. This can pass between member to member independent of whatever their overall ranking/score is. If the crown holder doesn't have a fight for 14 days, it'll pass to a different active member at random.

What is Picfighting?

How does picfighting work?

If you're new to the style or if you're wondering how picfighting works as it pertains to our federation, I'll try to outline the options below:
HMP

Hit-Miss-Pass is probably the most common way of doing things. You and your opponent will take turns linking pictures and reacting to them. If a picture makes you feel something, anything at all, it's considered a hit. Many people like to describe the severity of the hit, if it doesn't affect you much, it would just be a regular hit, slight hit or however you'd want to describe it. On the other hand if the picture really affects you, it could be considered a massive hit, sexy hit, or something along those lines. Now the goal of the contest is to ultimately push your opponent towards a climax, so the most powerful 'hits' of all are called passes. If you pass to an opponent's picture, they're allowed to send an additional picture the next round. This kind of thing can often lead to the winner snowballing out of control and forcing an orgasm from the loser. A miss is kind of the opposite and should only be reserved if you genuinely think an opponent's picture isn't hot at all.

Ideally a HMP contest should feature plenty of witty banter, trash-talking or even simultaneous RP. Just saying 'hit' and no additional context can be boring for some, so try to push your opponent there with your words as well as cleverly timed pictures.

Audience Participation Ruleset

An additional ruleset we have in the fed is the idea of audience participation in a public match. In these sorts of contests, the audience can be involved, not only when it comes to placing potential bets on the winner but they also have the option of sending one picture (along with the winner's two) whenever a participant passes. This can make it very, very difficult for the competitor that passes as they'll often have to react to several pictures instead of just two. Passes are obviously much more dangerous in this public format because of that!

Judged Contests

Judged contests are another way people settle their picfights. These are typically done in a private room between two competitors and a third person acting as a judge. Rather than the participants reacting to how hard a picture hits them, the judge will assign a score to the hotter picture each round. Each Judge is a little different in their criteria but keep in mind, whatever the judge says goes in this contest. It's important to pick a judge that is going to be somewhat fair and unbiased to both competitors but always remember that beauty standards are subjective. If you see a member with the 'Judge' title in the fed, these are people with a proven track-record for that kind of thing.

How to judge a contest

As mentioned earlier, every judge is a little different but I (Jessica Beppler) can go over my own criteria for how I handle them typically. First of all I'll check with both competitors to see how much time they have available and then we'll agree to a maximum amount of points (typically 15). Then for each round of pictures, I'll award a score between 1-3 based on whichever picture is hotter. If it's a very close round, the winner will only get 1 point. If one competitor posts a picture that's way hotter, I'll award 3 points. I also like to have a knockdown rule where if someone earns 3 points, their opponent gets knocked down. While they're in this knocked down state, I'll start a countdown to 10 and during this time they'll have to post more pictures to stand up. If they post a picture I deem hot enough in that time period, they're allowed to stand up and the contest resumes. If they fail to post anything hot enough and I reach the count of 10, they're eliminated from the contest.

It's also worth mentioning that whoever posts the first picture for a round ultimately sets the theme. It'll be up to their opponent to match that theme, whether it's the outfit, pose, camera angle or what have you. Typically I'll have both competitors roll dice to determine who posts the first picture of the contest, after that whoever posts first alternates between rounds.

Judged contests are also the perfect setup for RP stakes and it's not unusual for them to want to join a threesome sort of scenario, although this sort of thing should obviously be discussed/agreed upon by all 3 participants beforehand.

What is Picfighting? -continued

Hybrid Fights

The last way to have a picfight is by combining it with a more traditional style. You can technically have a catfight, wrestling, boxing (or whatever kind of style you think) alongside a picfight. Rather than hit-miss-pass, the pictures themselves can determine what happens in a fight. If someone phrases their move conditionally, like they're attempting to tackle you down to the bed, the picture they post after will determine whether or not it's successful. If you find their picture hot enough, then they succeed in tackling you down. Meanwhile if it's not hot enough, you're free to dodge and launch a counterattack sort of thing.

Ultimately this is the most flexible style available and it all comes down to whichever ruleset you and your opponent agree upon. At Picfight Remastered, we try to be flexible to accommodate all types of RPers. Even if you decide to just have a more traditional sort of cyber fight or competitive RP scene, you're welcome to include it in our fed/rankings, so long as your opponent agrees. Although this sort of thing can also come down to admin discretion and any sort of win-farming suspicions will be investigated.

Do we need a 'Wall' on the main fed page? Who knows!? Regardless, I am going to claim the first spot for posterity...
