Introduction

Growing up in a low-income neighborhood in Los Angeles, Lucia Martinez witnessed violence and poverty almost every day. She hated the life her family was forced to live, but no matter how difficult things became, there was always one place where she found happiness: at home with her parents and two younger siblings.

Some of Lucia’s fondest memories were spent gathered around the living room television with her father, watching professional wrestling together. Every match had her completely invested. She would cheer for her favorites, boo the villains at the top of her lungs, and celebrate every victory alongside her dad. Those moments sparked a dream that never left her.

“Papa, when I grow up, I’m going to be a wrestler just like them!”

Rather than dismissing it as a childish fantasy, her father always encouraged her, believing in her dream every step of the way.

As the years passed, Lucia entered high school, where she was relentlessly bullied. She dreaded going to school each day, but no matter how difficult life became, wrestling remained her escape and the source of her determination. It reminded her that one day she could build a better life for herself and her family.

Determined to turn that dream into reality, Lucia got a job and saved every dollar she could. Once she had enough money, she enrolled in a wrestling academy. Through every practice and every setback, her father was there, driving her to training, picking her up afterward, and supporting her without fail.

Years of hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance finally paid off. Lucia earned the opportunity to become a professional wrestler, and before long she received an offer to join Noir Extreme Wrestling.

Without hesitation, she accepted.

After packing her belongings, Lucia said an emotional goodbye to her family, promising that no matter where her career took her, she would always support the people who had supported her from the very beginning. With their love behind her and her lifelong dream finally within reach, Lucia set off to begin the next chapter of her life.
