I am a former roleplayer. I often prefer to create a story behind the fight but if not requested, I can also agree with the dear old "ready, set, wrestle!".
I hate one liners or everyone who just describes in a few words the moment. Be descriptive, emphasize what you are doing with what you think, what you feel, what you expect from me next, what you see in my eyes or what the hell you want. Psychological elements are definitely an essential part for me.
