Princess_Misaki: It's a really hot day. Before another girl walks into my life again, I'd normally be at N.E.W.'s training facility at this hour, tossing that dummy around. But right now, I sit barefoot on the sofa in my luxury apartment, watching Chanyota's match on TV—she's driving the head of that champion I know all too well into the canvas. I rest my chin on my hand and quietly watch it all. I don't need to worry about Sara; she's good enough. As for Chanyota, it seems she's fitting in quickly and already has her own signature move, the 'Iron Prison'. I walk to the kitchen, intending to have a couple of drinks. Chanyota seems to have pulled it off, but at this hour, she'd usually be helping me with squats or bench presses in the gym. I figure she won't have time tonight. I finish the sparkling wine in front of me, head back to the bedroom, and plan to get some rest before Chanyota comes home.
Princess_Misaki:
Chanyotaaa: Tonight is incredible. After all the hardships, I defeat Sara! I can't pull myself out of that dreamlike memory too soon. As I return to my place—Misaki's home—I notice the lights are dimmed but not entirely off. 'She's probably resting,' I think. 'These days of strength training have really worn her out.' I don't want to impose my excitement on her. So I slip off my shoes, pad barefoot across the floor, and move as quietly as I can. The chaos after the match was overwhelming—I didn't have a chance to grab my jacket, so I'm still in my basic training gear. I creep around, getting ready to wash up and turn in, planning to share the glory of tonight with Misaki first thing in the morning.
Princess_Misaki: The moment I hear the door, I rush out of my bedroom. The sparkling wine by my bed is nearly gone. My cheeks are warm with a flush. I shuffle along in my flip-flops, making a faint click-clack with every step. As I emerge, the glow from the TV in the hallway casts your reflection—and there you are, that flawless figure... 'You're home, Sis. Do you know what time it is? I really hope you can wrap things up earlier from now on. This is New York—late nights can be dangerous. Believe me, your muscles aren't going to stop a bullet...' I don't bring up that amazing match, even though I know you were incredible. Instead, I use your late return as an excuse, and I hold you accountable under the pretense of being 'neglected.' I fold my arms, fix my gaze on you, my eyes slightly glassy from the alcohol.
Princess_Misaki:
Chanyotaaa: I'm startled by the sound of your flip-flops and your words. I whip around. 'Oh, sorry for disturbing your rest, that's my fault. There are really too many matches and activities tonight. I'll be more careful next time.' My cheeks flush, and I feel guilty for my behavior. I notice your cheeks are flushed as well, and when I take that as a sign of friendliness, I walk toward you—and then I catch the smell of alcohol. 'Oh, wait, Sis... is that... you've been drinking...Perhaps you are body building now,so.....'
Princess_Misaki: 'What, do I need to apply to the officer first just to have a drink in my own home? I—' I suddenly realize my own overreaction and quickly catch myself. 'I... I mean, I won't do it again next time—at least not when you're coaching me through strength training... You must be really tired today. It was a good match, right? Did you win?' I ask, even though I already know the answer, just trying to find something to ease the awkwardness. But the TV that's still on gives me away. My cheeks grow even redder—this time from shyness and embarrassment... I slip one foot out of my flip-flop and rub it repeatedly against my other ankle...
Chanyotaaa: For a moment, I feel you're way too aggressive, but then you quickly cool down and become like a sister having a normal conversation. After all, I'm the one who came home late—I don't want to leave you stuck in embarrassment for too long. 'It's okay. I think we can just do some treadmill or stretching instead of strength training—how about we treat this week as a rest week for you?' I walk over and pat you on the shoulder. 'And I'm really sorry for coming back so late. Yes, I won my first singles match. And Sara—she's my senior, and she's amazing. Even though she's about my age, she's definitely the benchmark for my professional journey... Beating her is just incredible...' I get all animated, ready to tell you how I pulled it off on the canvas...
Princess_Misaki: "Okay, calm down, alright? Sis... you really need to check what time it is. Please don't talk so loudly here—you'll disturb the neighbors." I cut you off mid-sentence, right when you were really getting into it. To be honest, you wouldn't be bothering anyone here except me. I know Sara is absolutely a great girl, and I'd fully support her—if she didn't take up the time that's supposed to be yours and mine. "Go take a shower. I think you should get to bed early... and as for your wonderful game, I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to talk about it tomorrow."
Chanyotaaa: "Oh... uh... okay..." I said, my enthusiasm deflated by your interruption. My facial expression twitched involuntarily—maybe this really wasn't the best time to go on about all that. "Sorry for disturbing your rest, Sis. I'll go take my shower now..." After you gave me a slight nod, I grabbed my jacket and headed into the bathroom. As the water poured over my hair, all the awkwardness from just now faded away. The cool sensation helped me stop overthinking all those complicated social interactions, and I let myself fully relive everything that had happened in N.E.W. today. As planned, I'd be with Misaki tomorrow, continuing to help her build up her strength—of course, assuming she got a good night's sleep and still felt up to hitting the gym. I turned up the volume on my AirPods and enjoyed my brief daily moment of relaxation under the warm stream.
Princess_Misaki: I nodded, catching the flicker of disappointment in your eyes. I felt a little pang of sympathy, but I also thought it was something you needed to take note of. I gave you a smile to show that I was pleased with your response, then turned and went back to my room. I dimmed the lights, got into bed with a contented heart, and prepared to welcome a brand new day tomorrow with a sweet dream.
Princess_Misaki: The appearance of Chanyota made me feel as if I had re‑encountered Mayumi from my childhood. She had always been stronger than me since we were little, so our competitions almost always ended with her victories and dominance. But back then, she would always give me a hug or a pure smile after winning... yet now... Suddenly, though, I didn't care so much anymore. Every time I handed over my signing bonus to her, only to receive more greedy demands and contempt in return, Chanyota appeared at just that moment. I knew that fate would send someone to save me—it surely would. Obviously, she was stronger, more considerate, and kinder than Mayumi. I truly fell in love with this little girl. This time, I won't let anything take my little sister away from me.
Chanyotaaa: When I come out of the bathroom, the living room lights have already gone completely dark. I tiptoe over to grab my phone, return to my room, and lie down contentedly on the high‑quality mattress. In just under a week, my life has undergone tremendous changes. I haven't even felt the usual awkwardness of arriving in a strange city—a warm‑hearted fellow countrywoman has taken great care of me, even though she does lose her temper from time to time, but that doesn't really matter. Here, I have met my career goal and spiritual pillar, and I have defeated her, proving everything about myself. I am so grateful to God for favoring a little Japanese girl like this. I'm not a Christian, but I don't mind thanking Him in New York for arranging all of this. "Thank You, God, for bringing me here. Thank you, Misaki, my Sis... and..." I pull out my phone and quickly open my chat with Sara. "Thank you, Sara, for everything you've done. From a little Japanese girl who's been silently watching and blessing you." After doing all that, I turn over contentedly, ready to fully rest.

Chanyotaaa: The next morning, when sunlight streams through the sheer curtains into my room, I quickly open my eyes and turn over lazily. I know that for an average office worker, it's time to get up and start making preparations—this is a professional habit I've developed since my days as a police officer. Indeed, for a wrestling star, this hour is far too early. I think about what happened last night—Misaki probably isn't used to someone intruding into her private space. I get up, make my bed, and walk into her spacious kitchen, which is fully equipped. I start grinding coffee beans, preparing bacon and sausages to fry, and take out salad dressing along with some boiled vegetables and tomatoes. To be honest, this is the first time I've ever prepared breakfast for someone else, so I spend a lot of time deciding how much to make. If this isn't going to be a surprise, at least I won't let it turn into a disaster. I put on an apron and busy myself moving back and forth between the stove and the sink.
Chanyotaaa:
Princess_Misaki: Around 7 o'clock, I woke up, turned over, and saw that some sunlight was already streaming in through the window. I decided to do my stretching and some BJJ drills first—this has always been a habit of mine, which makes me more proficient with submissions during matches. The room was well soundproofed, so I didn't hear anything going on outside. I changed into my tight training gear and planned to head to my training room to start some exercise—I really didn't think you'd be up at this hour. But when I opened the door and smelled the aroma of food, and saw your incredible figure bustling about there, I was genuinely startled! "Oh my god, Sis, you made all this? You're up so early!" I had been planning to prepare breakfast for you, just like I used to take care of Mayumi—but now I'm the one being taken care of. A wave of warmth and vulnerability welled up inside me.
Princess_Misaki:
Chanyotaaa: I hear the sound of the door opening and the surprised tone in your voice. I turn around and see you fully geared up. "Good morning, Sis. Did I wake you up again? Sorry—maybe I'm still not quite familiar with the layout here. Perhaps all those bottles and jars are too noisy..." I spread jam onto the last piece of bread in my hand, turn back, and place it on the dining table. "Should we have breakfast together now? After all, you're already awake." I chuckle softly. This meal was originally prepared for you—I had planned to leave these things out and then head out for some cardio like a long run, but you weren't up that late, which throws off my plan. Looking at your outfit, I realize that you might also be used to doing some training after getting up. "So, Sis, are you dressed like that to go for... a morning workout?"
Princess_Misaki: I got from you the answer I most wanted to hear. "All of this was prepared for you..." I had thought from the beginning that you might say that, but I was afraid my hopes would be crushed again. My own younger sister had never done these things for me—yet I received the warmth I'd been hoping for from another Japanese girl. "I... thank you, Mayumi—ah no, Chanyota..." I blurted out that name in my panic, which was so rude to you. I quickly steered the conversation back: "Yes, I usually do some BJJ stretching first, like for my waist or limbs, in the training room over there. I normally have breakfast after training, so I didn't get up early to prepare anything—sorry..."
Chanyotaaa: "Don't worry, sis—I've already got everything ready. So you have plenty of time to follow your usual workout routine. But... I hear you mention BJJ..." I pause, because I have actually done some training myself. Back when I was still a police officer, I used to practice it every day—it was a required course for us. "If you're tired of hitting the heavy bag or a dummy every day, I think I could be your training partner—of course, if you don't mind...And Mayumi..., its the new name you are going to give to me?' I smile and take off my apron with a joyful tone. It's been a long time since I've tried this sport, and Misaki, as a professional practitioner, probably has more say in this area. I hope that through training and competing together, we can grow closer...
Princess_Misaki: "Oh, of course... I'll try my best to accommodate any invitation or request from you." Over these past few days, your every move had completely captivated me. At first I thought your façade was flawless, because I couldn't find a single imperfection in you—until I realized that you held yourself to that standard strictly, even on the canvas, never saying a harsh word to anyone. And honestly, you fit my idea of a little sister even better than Mayumi does. "Sorry, sorry—Mayumi, that's my sister. Anyway, forget about her. You'll have plenty of time later to hear about that one... I just spaced out for a second." I directly admitted my momentary confusion. "So, how about we get a few rounds in at the training room before breakfast? I think you might want to change your clothes. We'll meet in the small room at the back." I went ahead and arranged our first activity of the day, taking for granted that you'd be up for a few BJJ matches with me. I walked toward the back room without giving you a chance to object, took off my shoes, stepped onto the mat, and started stretching.
Chanyotaaa: "Oh! Okay! Alright!" You decide so decisively what we're going to do this morning. I had only planned to do some basic training with you, and then head over to the N.E.W. training gym to try my luck—do some barbell work or some cardio or something—but you don't seem to give me any chance to explain. I have a feeling I'll be stuck here all morning. You turn and walk straight into the training room, so I can only hurry back to my room and change into my workout gear. "How am I supposed to bring this up with Misaki... Or, I mean, it's fine if I go to N.E.W. in the afternoon instead. Whatever, let's just go with this for now." I quickly compromise—more with myself than with Misaki, really. I grab my phone and bring it downstairs, just in case I miss any important calls. By the time I reach the room, Misaki has clearly already finished some stretching.
Princess_Misaki: As soon as you walked through the door, I stood up and first gave you a high‑five and a fist bump—standard BJJ etiquette. "Come on over, Sis, stop wasting time—I've been waiting so long for a real training partner." I skillfully picked up that heavy training dummy, which must have weighed dozens of pounds, tossed it aside, and pulled you onto the mats. The moment I faced you, I felt a strange sense of déjà vu—it was like the old Mayumi, the little girl I loved most, had come back to me. But then I noticed the difference in our builds. You weren't Mayumi. If you were any meaner, you'd be even more dangerous than her... "We might not be in the same weight class, but that doesn't stop us from going a few rounds here, right? That debut match that was supposed to be a one‑on‑one—Aisha stuck her nose in, so we haven't actually fought each other yet..." I lowered my center of gravity, adopting a common starting posture, ready to start grappling with you on the mats.
Princess_Misaki:
Chanyotaaa: "Alright, Sis, but I think we should focus on training. I'll take it seriously. However, unlike Pro's style, in BJJ, having to face someone my weight class without a Gi for you to grip and leverage against—if this were an official match, it really wouldn't be fair for you." I watch you settle into your stance, and I lower my center of gravity as well, slowly circling you on the mat with a steady rhythm, sizing you up. I try to catch your wrist with a sudden palm grab, hoping to pull you off balance and bring you in.
Princess_Misaki: I keep shaking my hands in front of me, my eyes locked on your footwork. As the bigger training partner, it's no surprise that you're the one taking the initiative to attack—I expected that. I can't go strength‑for‑strength with you; I've already felt your power. Instead, I try to keep deflecting your reaching hands with mine, constantly blocking your attempts to get a grip. I've faced opponents bigger and more ruthless than you, so I know I have to keep my composure. I hop backward a couple of steps, trying to get out of your range. Then, just as I extend my right hand again to parry you, you suddenly clamp down hard and seize my wrist. "Oh, this is not good…" I grunt, yanking my arm back with all my might. At the same time, I drop into a low horse stance, sinking my hips backward and throwing my entire body weight down to steady my center of gravity.
Chanyotaaa: The moment my hand grips your wrist, before I can even secure control over your other shoulder, you start struggling violently. I know my strength left a strong impression on you, and you're giving everything you've got to break out of my dominant position. 'Jiu‑jitsu isn't just about strength, Sis… it's also about technique… here it comes… Kihhh….' I lift my heels slightly off the mat, first releasing my footing, letting your pulling momentum easily drag me toward you. I brace my core and, like a fireball, charge right into your embrace. Then, pivoting instantly on my heels, I rotate my body while hyperextending your arm upward, positioning you perfectly for a seoi‑nage—slamming you hard onto the mat and immediately pinning you down with kesa gatame.
Princess_Misaki: "Oh... this isn't right..." I kept every nerve taut, along with my biceps and the muscles in my thighs—I didn't want to let you catch me easily just because I relaxed. But I never expected you to be so constructive—like a nimble bull or a high-powered truck. With just a slight ease on your part, you made me have to grab onto you and stumble backward. Then you accelerated into my balance, just like a demonstration in a middle-school judo class, effortlessly slinging me over your shoulder and onto the mat, quickly pinning me down in a common position. "No... don't think you can just..." I tossed out a wisecrack, "Looks like you were a good student back in school." All the while, I tried to arch my back using my legs, and pushed against your arms and jaw, trying to get your upper body away from my carotid artery.
Princess_Misaki:
Chanyotaaa: I chuckle, which means that after a busy breakfast, I still have enough energy to throw myself into the next round of fighting. "Yes, Sis, I almost never skip class, even if it means sparring with some guys. You know, I can always win a couple of rounds... hehe..." I feel you working hard to bridge, struggle, and try to throw me off you. My head nimbly dodges your palms, and I do my best not to let you push my upper body away. Then I flip myself completely over, face down, and pin you from an angle perpendicular to your body. My arms wrap around your neck area, preparing for the choke to come. My feet are already set to plant against the mat—the soft but firm mat gives me great feedback; it isn't slippery at all. As long as I'm ready, I can almost launch the "north-south choke" at any moment.
Princess_Misaki: I kept adjusting my breathing in large, heavy gulps—and I even thought it was starting to work a little. You slid to my side and continued to pin me down. I felt your chest lift slightly off my body, and I quickly clasped my hands together behind your back. I intended to keep you right there, so you wouldn't be able to smoothly grab my arm for a triangle or an armbar. I had expected us to roll around here for a while longer—until I felt my pulse begin to quicken. That was your muscles starting to squeeze my neck. I hurriedly pulled at your arm, trying to make you loosen that hold around me.
Chanyotaaa: I won't give you the chance to pull my arm away, though I know that if I stick to being tough, you won't be able to pull my arm apart much anyway. I move almost like a gliding crab, quickly adjusting my body to line up with yours. I can't let you grab hold of anything to prolong your struggle. A classic but still effective north‑south choke—I press my chin against your rib cartilage, while my armpit and biceps trap your throat. You might swallow a few times, but all I feel is your breathing growing more rapid and your struggles coming more frequently. "You might be about to tap, Sis," I say, lifting my arms slightly to heighten the choking discomfort.
Chanyotaaa:
Princess_Misaki: Almost in the blink of an eye, I realize that I have to tap out quickly—this level of muscle pressure might already be doing some damage to my vocal cords or the muscles in my neck and shoulders. "Tap... tap... emmm..." I rapidly and repeatedly tap on your arm, admitting that I can't hold on for even a few more seconds under these techniques.
Chanyotaaa: I release my arms almost at the same time. BJJ itself isn't a sport about causing harm—technique and flexibility are clearly more important than permanent injury. "Hope you're okay, Sis. I told you your weight puts you at a real disadvantage against me. Sorry I always take things so seriously in matches, even if it's just at your place." I sit down on the mat, help you up, and give your shoulder a pat, then quickly step off the mat to check my phone messages. I've hardly had a chance to look at my messages since I opened my eyes this morning. When I see Sara's sweet words, I smile from the bottom of my heart. I'm wrapped up in one happy thing after another, and in girls full of friendship—and that gives me, once again, an overwhelming sense of security that feels deeply unreal yet impossible to let go of.
Princess_Misaki: I'm still lying on the mat, rubbing my throat that instantly turned red from the choke. You quickly get up and have already stepped off the mat, and I watch you smiling foolishly at your phone. Even though you've maintained all your courtesy, I'm still a bit puzzled—it seems like something is particularly drawing your attention. "Oh... cough... that was a good choke, Sis. What's up? Did you get a new competition invitation? If so, I think I need to buy some beef, or... deep-sea fish. You need better protein..." I plan to get up from the mat and walk toward you.
Chanyotaaa: I hold my phone, my eyes not leaving that warm message. "Sis, look what Sara said to me—my god, a heart of gold. I'm really flattered, you know? For the first time, I find myself right in the middle of my dream. Not just you, but Sara, and everyone else I've planned to meet—you all surprise me beyond words. I'm so grateful you brought me here!" I say this warmly and give you a hug, pulling you tightly into my arms. I'm tearing up a little with joy. I think at this moment, no one in the world could be happier than me. A few years ago, I was dying for an autograph from a Stardom star, and now she replies to my WeChat personally; a rookie who just joined the league now lives in such a luxurious detached house... God has given me far more than I ever dared to ask for. I never imagined things would go so smoothly for me in NEW.
Princess_Misaki: When you excitedly hug me, I suddenly remember my cold attitude from last night—I haven't even cheered or applauded for your brilliant performance. I sincerely want to apologize to you, but when I hear how much Sara's influence means to you, I know I should feel happy and relieved for you. Pursuing Sara's attention, recognition, and friendship—that was also what I dreamed of when I first came here. But I know what happened later; our relationship is still good, but maybe something will always stand between us like a rushing river or a blazing fire. But if you—my little sister, whom I've long regarded as a substitute for Mayumi, an impeccable, pure fighter and family member—if you and Sara end up being inseparable, then what am I to her...? I force myself to hold back an inexplicable discomfort in my heart. "Great, Sis! You've got the recognition of the league champion! That's fantastic!" I deliberately distance you from that special relationship with Sara, referring to that Spanish girl as "the champion"—she is still a girl I cherish as a treasure, but... she might once again take away the little spirit that just appeared in my life... A heart of gold—how ironic. Now I'm literally giving gold to my little sister... Can't I make you happy? I know I can't think any further, because I've already started to twitch slightly. I gently push you away and walk to the dining room. "Come on, Sis, I'm a little... tired today... Let me taste your cooking first—I need to eat something." With a casual excuse, I quickly escape from your side.
Chanyotaaa: I have an odd feeling—for some reason, this hug feels a little cool. Maybe it's my imagination, or maybe my body needs me to calm down right now. You gently push me away, almost fleeing the room quickly. "Alright! Let me go try my luck—maybe I'll run into even more surprises at N.E.W today! Hope you feel better soon!" I simply toss those fleeting little emotions aside, quickly throw on my jacket, grab my gym bag, and head toward the bathroom. "Hope it's a perfect day! Good luck, Misaki!" I flash a big smile and dash into the bathroom in a flash.
Princess_Misaki: I see your ever‑warm and flawless smile. My brow relaxes a little—at least you're still by my side now, and I have plenty of time to win a place in your heart. I give you a faint, ambiguous nod. Then! I hear "Misaki"—my name. I don't know if you did it on purpose or unintentionally, even though we call each other sisters and we should be that way... You seem to be deliberately putting distance between us, even if it really is unintentional on your part, but that's not something that can be brushed aside with a simple "it's okay" in my book. I press my lips to the coffee in front of me, hiding my displeasure that's not easy to detect. "Hope you have a great day too, Sis! Also, the coffee and bacon are absolutely masterful—are you heading out? Then the remaining portion is mine as well?" I get a nod of confirmation from you, and the moment you head out the door, in a voice only I can hear: "You're mine too... just you wait..."
