19:33 BagOfOwls: Some people prefer M/F, some agree to M/F even though it's not their favourite, and some don't want to do M/F at all. Those are all perfectly fine and valid preferences. Same goes no matter how you flip the M's and F's. As I said before, there's a separate site for those who prefer M/M, and most of those who do are probably already on there. Most of us who are on Venus probably came here because we prefer either M/F or F/F, that's why I made a suggestion for a tournament format that's in line with that. And you're right, I didn't post any matches for the open tournament, but neither did anyone else, as far as I could see.

20:07 Anastasia_the_brawler: The problem is that if people are too picky or selective, a lot of possibilities disappear.... and sometimes it is sad... because if we are in a fed it is to make it alive and to do some cool matchs. And I have to admit that sometimes I feel sad, I write to hundreds of people and have no answers. So if I do the same, I have no fights at all. Sometimes it is not my dream opponent but I give my best to have a good experience and give a good experience. And if everyone is too picky... it gives less possibilities to have fun. Sometimes people should just be a bit more open to have fun... sorry for the long post, but I think I try to be open to a lot of people even if it is not my dream setup...

The original post, and I quote was: “Give me your ideas and availability for a mixed tournament that will start soon”. I do respect all ideas, requests, demands etc. but I think this is the reason many guys in here focus on the “mixed tournament” and not mvm. Just my humble observation.

I think everyone who choose to come here should be ready to be somewhat flexible WITHIN their limits- otherwise there'd never be any fun for anyone! Then again, nobody should feel like they're being pressured into doing things they don't agree with. And, since we're often dealing with pushing people's limits, that can be a fine line to walk.
22:03 Raven_Vex: You're absolutely right. Lately, I've also been giving people a chance with that perspective, and it's been much more enjoyable than I expected. Focusing on the main thing instead of always waiting for that 'imaginary rival' leads to much better stories.
23:37 RafaPR: Yea that’s why I’m tryna spitball ideas like a round robin or team battle system since the wording said “mixed tournament” which is what kicked off the whole should there be MvM discussion. I want to preface that I’m not opposed personally to MvM and if that’s the pre requisite to participate then anyone offering to participate should read the terms and conditions of what they’re agreeing to before they get to deep in. In the spirit of giving ideas if it’s to be a mixed matches only competition I think a team of guys vs team of girls with a point system cause that’s the only way I can think of to achieve 100% mixed matches. The drawbacks are if matches aren’t scheduled will people participate freely? Even if matches are scheduled will people do those matches?
04:47 KC_Lauren: Thanks for your ideas and I'm glad that the message helped at least to reactivate discussions here. OPCW proposes many things and it's done fore almost every interests. If we do a playoff tournament, which includes the possibility of mvsm matches, and you are not into it, you don't have to participate or complain. You will be in next one. But if you haven't had any match in the "wrestler of the year tournament" which is a sort of round robin one, you can see that your idea isnt successful. We have already tried it.
