04:52 Elsa_Arctis: There’s that familiar thunder. The building quakes at her arrival. Shadow fills the doorway, before the big bear ducks inside. She stands, icy eyes sweeping the occupants offering Phil a wave of a big hand. His face becoming as familiar as the building itself. “Evening, Phil!” And then Zi. About the prettiest thing she ever saw. Those pale cheeks get the tiniest hint of rosy color, and her wave goes to her, too, before she approaches the panda, bowing low to press a sweet kiss to her cheek. “And the loveliest lady of them all.”
04:59 Zi_Lin: Zi watches the large polar bear step through the door with a dreamy far away look on her face. She smiles when she sees the bear's eyes fall on her, her cheeks pinkening at the mere sight of her. Her heart beats all the faster as Elsa approaches, so caught up in her fluttering chest and leaping tummy she completely forgets to return the wave! As the bear gets right up in front of her and leans down, she gets so flustered she forgets to breathe, especially when Elsa's lips press to her hot cheek! Her arms come up and she kisses the cheek of the polar bear back, looking up at her shyly. "H-hi beautiful..."
05:05 Elsa_Arctis: Elsa’s lips pull into a wide smile. She offers the much smaller bear her hand, and lets her head tip towards her seat. “Want to sit with me?” She only had so many options, but if the panda wished it, she would happily sit in the floor, wherever she asked. Though, she would kindly offer her lap, for the little cutie.
05:09 Zi_Lin: The little panda nods with enthusiasm. "Yes I'd love to!" she bleats. Seeing the table and chair is Elsa sized and not Zi sized she doubt she could actually sit in one of the chairs and still see over the rim of the table so, feeling emboldened, she clambers up on Elsa's lap using her agile climbing skills and takes a seat right in the big cutie's lap. She smiles up, hoping this is ok with Elsa but having a funny little feeling it just might be.
05:21 Elsa_Arctis: Elsa grins brighter yet, as the little panda climbs her like a tree. She can see in those pretty eyes that she’s hoping she’s fine where she’s at, and Elsa just kind of melts at the expectant look in that sparkling gaze. She wraps one of those tree trunk arms around the woman’s waist and holds her snug. But careful. She places kiss right to the top of her head. “Welcome! I have to say, your climbing skills are even more impressive here!” She chuckles that rumbling sound, letting her big hand rest against Zi’s belly as she settles her between her thighs.
05:28 Zi_Lin: Zi sees in Elsa's melting expression that she likes what the panda did. As her arm, thick and strong, wraps around the little panda she nuzzles herself right against Elsa's chest and settles herself into a warm and snuggly spot. "Thanks!" she says with a hint of pride in her voice, and a lot more written on her face. "I used to climb trees all the time back home. It drove my neighbors mad when they'd look outside and see me sitting in one of theirs" she smiles fondly at the memory. Elsa rests her hand against Zi's tummy and Zi doesn't mind one bit. In fact she makes herself right at home even though her head only barely comes up to the big girl's shoulder.
05:35 Elsa_Arctis: And, with Zi’s head just shy of her shoulder, it makes the perfect home for Elsa’s chin. She came in for a drink, and got about the best snuggles she could ask for, instead. How could she complain? She smiled lazily, and let one of those big fingers make little circles in the fabric over Zi’s stomach. “I bet you were a little nymph, wild and free and beautiful as the sun could be.” She chucked again, her chest and chin both vibrating against the girl’s head. “If I can ask, where was home?”
05:43 Zi_Lin: Zi is not surprised that she enjoys the polar bear's fingers making circles on her tummy. Her cheeks redden a little more as she begins smiling. Chuckling at Elsa's theoretical recounting of her life, she nods her head. "Like you wouldn't believe it" she smiles, reminiscing in her head. "My mom's from Beijing. My dad from Canada. I split time between the two places" she says nuzzling a little more into Elsa's arm and shoulder. Her eyes trail up. "Where was home for you?"
05:50 Elsa_Arctis: Elsa chuckled again, her finger still making lazy circles as she listened. Two cultures and so very far apart. She really was a little package full of surprises. “I would have connected the dots with China, but I didn’t want to assume.” She tipped her head a little and pressed a little kiss to Zi’s crown. “I don’t remember most of my life. Little snippets still come through sometimes. My story is a little less… wholesome. But, I *think* that I was from Norway, before. But that’s just a guess, with a few clues I’ve been able to snatch from the air.” She shrugs those huge shoulders and thinks a moment. “I will need to make sure to put plenty of things to climb around the place that I stay.” She pauses a beat, before her cheeks grow hot. “That, I mean, if you… do happen to come by, I mean. That is. You know.”
06:01 Zi_Lin: Zi's smile begins to falter as Elsa recounts her own story. Or at least the small amount she can remember. The panda's ears droop and she makes a sad little sound for the polar bear. Zi pieces together the unspoken things in Elsa's story as well. She didn't think Elsa had a family, if she doesn't know where she came from. Or at least she doesn't know her family, if they are out there somewhere. She doesn't know what to say, so she turns in the polar bear's lap to more face her so she can give her a gentle hug. She holds it until Elsa speaks of putting things to climb around where she's staying. Zi's head snaps up to look at Elsa, her mouth open, shocked. Her cheeks had just returned to their normal color when suddenly they get bright, candy-apple red! She can't say a word, her mouth opening and closing stupidly. Why did she have to lose herself now? Why?! But praise be, she finds her voice eventually. "CanISeeYourPlace?" She says, her words coming out too fast and jumbling together. "I mean, I'd like to see your place" she forces herself to speak slower. "If...y'know...you want me to..."
06:11 Elsa_Arctis: Elsa sees that look in her eyes, and the way the little panda deflates. She smiles a little smile, and when Zi turns to wrap her arms around her muscle bound frame, the polar bear does the same. One set of arms struggle to reach the back. The other could nearly swallow the hug whole. It’s comical, as much as it is adorable. She’s about to say that, in spite of what it might sound like, her life here was turning into something she hadn’t hoped for in a long time, when Zi blurts out a stream of words so fast that it catches the bear off guard to the point she laughs. She laughs that big, booming laugh and she squeezes the girl. Careful not to hurt, but tight. “Well, if that is something you want to do, then I certainly cannot deny those beautiful eyes anything in this world. I’ll be happy to show you my place. But, I warn you that it isn’t exactly the Ritz.” She gives nervous laugh, then, and suddenly is going over everything in her head. Oh to see how the polar bear lived. It might be the most frightening thing she’s done since getting here. “When?”
06:25 Zi_Lin: Zi loves the way Elsa's arms feel around her. The strong yet gentle touch quickly becomes "safety and comfort" for the little bear. She fears she may have overstepped with the stream of sound that comes out of her, but when she looks up expecting to see disapproval she only sees amusement. That big and booming laugh that's becoming one of her favorite sounds in all the world to hear tells her everything is ok. "I don't want the Ritz I just want..." she stops herself before going any farther, fearful that she might actually overstep this time if she does. Still, Elsa had invited her into her home and she wasn't stupid enough to muck it up. She hopes. "Oh anytime! We could go n...I mean, there's no rush! 'N if you wanted to see my place you're invited. It's not exactly the Ritz either..." she blushes, looking down, muttering her next words under her breath seemingly more to herself than anything else. "Kind of a shithole really." But she perks back up again almost immediately. "But even still I'll show you if you want!"
07:16 Elsa_Arctis: Elsa ponders a moment, thinking it over. She hums, a low and rumbling sound in her throat. What was she scared of? That this lovely little lady was a part of some plot to take her and her friends back? Hardly. She felt like she would know, and Zi just seemed so genuine and heartfelt in everything she did, it played poor Elsa’s heart like a harp. Not unlike the sight of her seat, with her name carved into the wood. Miss Nova’s gift. The woman’s smile. She shook her head, and she decided. “Don’t think I missed that,” she said softly, her hand moving to lay a single big finger under the panda’s chin, lifting her the little bit to make the gentle, tender kiss to her lips a little more practical. “I’ve decided I trust you. We can go now.” With careful, precise motions, she scooped her arms around Zi’s frame and swept her up, cradling her in the incredible strength of her frame as she stood. She offered a wave to those that may be there, silent in their own corners, and she carried the panda along, ducking through the front door with her before carrying her out into the night.
