The match proceeding ours has just ended and the OPCW worker bees are scurrying about the arena doing whatever it is worker bees do before a match. My adrenaline is pumping as the arena goes dark and my music begins playing on the JumboTron with my promotional clip. A spotlight zooms in on the aisle way where the wrestlers enter the arena. But I'm not there. As AC / DC's "Thunderstruck" blares over the sound system, the crowd begins to buzz. The PA announcer goes into her brief sales pitch .. "INTRODUCING FIRST, WEIGHING IN AT 185 POUNDS, HE IS THE MAN WITH THE TAN ... ZACK. THE SHARK ATTACK. DAVISSSS!!! .. still no sign of me. The spotlights begin scanning the crowd until one catches me in its beam, perched high above the arena in the outer rafters! The crowd erupts into a roar as I step out into the abyss, tracked by the spotlight, as I ride a zip-line across the vast arena!

Forgoing my typical match attire, I opted to wear denim jeans for tonight's No Holds Barred match up against the Mangler. If it weren't for the barefoot clause in the contract, I'd be wearing my Timberland boots also, but as it is, I leap barefoot and shirtless onto a middle corner turnbuckle, stirring up the crowd even more as I await my opponents entry into the ring area!

It's not that I'm afraid of the dark, it's more a matter of what can't be seen in the dark. The hairs on the back of my neck stand up when the JumboTron goes dark. The lights flash back on, and my instincts proved to be correct. There, already in the ring, the Canadian Crippler himself! We hold each other's gaze for a moment as the ref asks if I'm ready as well ... grinning at my blue-masked opponent, "I'd say we're good, EHH?" I give a cutie in the front row a wink as the ref signals for the bell ..."been working out, big guy?", trying to get a rise out of you as I begin to circle around to your left. With almost a 100 pound weight disadvantage, I have no intentions of charging into a tie-up ...

A bit more Muay Tai than I would typically tend towards, but my typical opponent generally doesn't have such a size advantage ... chop the big guy down at the knees seems like sound strategy!

I force myself to stand over him and attempt from behind to wrap my arms around his neck as I lean over and try to place all my weight on him. Arms trying for a rear naked choke as I tuck my head on his back. If I'm lucky putting my hurt opponent in a bad way....

The claws vicious, painful hold, expertly applied it will drain the consciousness out of the victim. With the previous attacks to his head. This is the strategic choice.
