Emma Frost, also known as the White Queen is a powerful mutant telepath, former supervillain, and long-standing leader of the X-Men. She was born into a wealthy, emotionally distant Boston family where her telepathic powers first manifested during adolescence. Rejecting her father's fortune, she made her own path through intellect and psychic manipulation, eventually joining the elite Hellfire Club as the White Queen and establishing the Massachusetts Academy to train young mutants known as Hellions.

Following devastating personal losses, including the deaths of her students and the genocide of mutantkind on the island of Genosha, Emma underwent a profound transformation both morally and physically. Traumatized by the Genoshan attack, she developed a secondary mutation that allows her to turn her body into indestructible organic diamond, granting her immense physical durability at the cost of suppressing her telepathy while active.

Rebounding from these tragedies, she aligned with Charles Xavier’s allies and evolved into one of the X-Men's chief leaders and tacticians, co-heading the Xavier Institute alongside Cyclops and remaining a dominant political and operational force throughout every major era of mutant history.
