Growing up in a rough neighborhood, Gabriela was forced into a life of fighting starting from her first year of high school. What started as a fight to be let go, turned into an involuntary initiation match. A decisive victory and her rather imposing figure at such a young age proved to be a money making opportunity for the local gang that caught her. By the time she graduated, she managed to escape the life of gang violence by entering the armed forces. Unfortunately for her, her nurtured violent tendencies were only exacerbated by the rough and tough sparring sessions. Within a couple years, she was dishonorably discharged after severely injuring her sparring partners multiple times after multiple warnings. With such a mark on her record, it was nearly impossible for her to find a stable job. She returned to the underground, but matches for adults were even more brutal, often resulting in deaths. Gabriela thrived in this environment and whenever the underground business needed someone taken out, she was their gal, earning her the nickname "La Diabla." After several years, with the underground's topside business folding and the bottom side no longer having a stable foundation to launder with, the club decided to clean house. Gabriela had seen the writing on the wall and booked a nice long vacation out of the country and laid low. After returning to the states a few years later, Gabriela now runs her own gym dubbed 'Hell's Dumbbells', and deals with the troublemakers the only way she knows how. With her fists!
